"Penelitian ini mencoba memaparkan mengenai persepsi mahasiswa dan dosen tentang pendidikan etika profesi akuntansi. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan bukti empiris mengenai perbedaan persepsi tentang pendidikan etika profesi akuntansi antara mahasiswa dan dosen. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan kuesioner. Kuesioner disebarkan kepada 134 dosen dan mahasiswa akuntansi di tiga universitas di Jakarta. Pengujian dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji beda (Independent samples t-test). Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat perbedaan persepsi antara mahasiswa dan dosen, dosen menganggap pendidikan etika profesi akuntansi lebih penting dibandingkan mahasiswa.

This paper examines whether accounting stundents' perception on accounting ethics education are different from the perception of accounting lecturers. The purpose of this paper is to provide evidence about accounting students' and lecturers' perception on the importance of accounting ethics education. This study uses a survey instrument to elicit student and lecturer responses to various questions concerning accounting ethics education and analysed using Indepent-Samples T-Test. The results of this study conclude that there is a significant difference between students' and lecturers' perceptions about accounting ethics education, lecturers consider accounting ethics education more important than students."

"Ketatnya persaingan dalam industri sepeda motor di Indonesia berimbas pada persaingan iklan-iklan dari beraneka ragam merek sepeda motor. Tak terkecuali untuk iklan televisi. Persaingan dalam iklan tersebut kerap kali memunculkan persaingan yang tidak sehat dengan memunculkan iklan yang merendahkan produk pesaing. Tak hanya itu, kreativitas yang menjadi salah satu senjata utama dalam iklan juga tak jarang melewati batas-batas etika yang telah diatur dalam Etika Pariwara Indonesia (EPI), seperti penggunaan kata superlatif, menampilkan adegan yang berbahaya, dan unsur pornografi. Tulisan ini akan menganalisis delapan iklan sepeda motor, yaitu Yamaha MX King 150, Bajaj Pulsar, Suzuki Satria 150 FU Injeksi, Suzuki Nex, Kymco Jetmatic Free, TVC Rockz, TVS Apache RTR 160, dan Yamaha Jupiter MX 135. Kedelapan iklan sepeda motor tersebut menampilkan beberapa pelanggaran EPI. Sanksi pelanggaran EPI yang berupa sanksi etik nampaknya masih kurang diindahkan oleh para pengiklan. Oleh karena itu, untuk dapat menegakkan EPI perlu ditingkatkan koordinasi dan pengawasan untuk memperkuat MoU antara P3I dengan KPI (Komisi Penyiaran Indonesia) yang sudah ada sebelumnya untuk dapat memberikan sanksi yang dapat lebih membuat efek jera bagi para pengiklan yang melanggar dan mencegah kembali tayangnya iklan yang sudah diputuskan melanggar dan diberi peringatan.

Intense competition in the motorcycle industry in Indonesia impact on advertisements competition of diverse brands of motorcycles. No exception for television advertising. Competition in these ads often raises unfair competition by generating ads that disparage a competitor's product. Not only that, creativity is becoming one of the main weapons in the ad are also not infrequently pass ethical boundaries that have been set in Indonesia Advertisements Ethics (EPI), such as the use of superlatives, featuring dangerous scene, and pornography. This paper will analyze the eight motorcycles ads: Yamaha MX King 150, Bajaj Pulsar, Suzuki Satria FU 150 Injection, Suzuki Nex, Kymco Jetmatic Free, TVC RockZ, TVS Apache RTR 160, and Yamaha Jupiter MX 135. These eight motorcycle ads display multiple violations of EPI. Ethical sanctions for EPI’s offenders still seems to be ignored by advertisers. Therefore, to be able to enforce EPI needs to be improved coordination and supervision to strengthen the preexisting MoU between P3I with KPI (Indonesian Broadcasting Commission) so it can impose sanctions that could be making a deterrent effect for advertisers who abuse and prevent re-broadcast advertising that had been decided violate and given a warning."

"Di Lebanon, film series “Dollar” dikenal sebagai salah satu tayangan film favorit yang memiliki alur menarik dan berbagai nilai moral yang terdapat dari setiap adegannya. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah tentang moral. Penelitian ini membahas tentang nilai moral yang terdapat dalam film tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif karena bertumpu pada fenomenologi. Selain itu, metode yang digunakan lainnya yaitu metode strukturalisme sastra karena pendekatannya yang menekankan unsur intrinsik yang terdapat di dalam suatu karya. Dari hasil penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa aspek moral yang paling banyak adalah nilai moral etika dan kesusilaan yang tidak baik yang menggunakan dollar sebagai objeknya.

In Lebanon, the film series "Dollar" is known as one of the favorite film shows that has an interesting plot and various moral values contained in each scene. Therefore, the purpose of this study is about morals. This study discusses the moral values contained in the film. The method used in this study is a qualitative method because it is based on phenomenology. In addition, another method used is the method of literary structuralism because of its approach which emphasizes the intrinsic elements contained in a work. From the results of this study it was found that the moral aspects that were most prevalent were ethical and decency moral values that were not good which used dollars as their object."

"Belum adanya gambaran tentang faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan penerapan etika profesi keperawatan merupakan masalah di Rumah Sakit Metropolitan Medical Center Jakarta. Penerapan etika keperawatan yang tidak baik akan berdampak pada menurunnya mutu pelayanan keperawatan yang dapat berdampak pada pelayanan kesehatan secara keseluruhan.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran tentang penerapan etika keperawatan dan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang berhubungan penerapan etika profesi keperawatan oleh perawat pelaksana. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di seluruh ruangan baik di poliklinik maupun diruang rawat inap Rumah Sakit Metropolitan Medical Center Jakarta dari tanggal 27 Mei 2002 sampai dengan 7 Juli 2002. Desain yang digunakan adalah deskriptif korelasi bersifat cross sectional kepada 127 perawat pelaksana. Analisis yang gunakan adalah univariat, bivariat, dan multivariat.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 50,4% perawat berperilaku etikal dalam memberikan asuhan keperawatan dan 49,6% kurang etikal, yang merupakan gambaran komposit dari otonomi, tidak merugikan berbuat baik, adil, jujur, dan menepati janji. Dari hasil analisis bivariat diketahui ruang tempat kerja berhubungan secara bermakna dengan penerapan etika. Hasil analisis multivariat menunjukkan pemahaman merupakan variabel yang paling berhubungan dengan penerapan etika setelah dikontrol dengan variabel tempat kerja.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini disarankan kepada pimpinan rumah sakit untuk mengadakan kajian tentang program pengembangan sumber daya tenaga perawat yang telah berlangsung sebelumnya serta mengadakan crash programe untuk peningkatan pengetahuan perawat tentang etika keperawatan. Kepada PSDM dan manajer keperawatan tertinggi, menengah, dan bawah disarankan perlunya penggalangan dan intensifikasi pemahaman tentang etika keperawatan, role model pelayanan keperawatan yang etik dan profesional, reinforcement/penghargaan pada perawat pelaksana yang berprestasi. Bagi Pusdiknakes dan institusi Akper untuk dapat melakukan pembenahan kurikulum dan peningkatan proses pembelajaran etika keperawatan. Bagi organisasi profesi dapat menyusun langkah-langkah profesional pembinaan etika profesi bagi perawat ditatanan pelayanan kesehatan. Bagi peneliti lain agar dilakukan penelitian sejenis dengan cakupan populasi yang lebih luas dan desain yang berbeda.

One of the problems at the Metropolitan Medical Center Hospital Jakarta is the unavailability of evidence on the factors related to the implementation of professional code of ethics. High quality of nursing care in the context of nursing service required the nurses with ethical behaviors.

The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of nursing ethics and to identity factors related to the implementation of nursing ethics by nurse providers at the MMC Hospital Jakarta. This research was implemented at all setting of services both at the out-patient and in-patient department, from 27'h May to 7th June 2002. The research utilized a descriptive correlation design and a cross sectional with quantitative research method. The numbers of respondents were 127 nurse providers out of 196 persons. The data was analyzed using univariate, bivariate, and multivariate statistical treatments.

The results showed that 50, 4% nurses had good ethical behaviors in providing nursing care, and 49, 6% were poor in ethics. The bivariate analysis revealed that work place of nurses has a significant correlation with nursing ethics implementation. While, the result of multivariate showed that the ethical comprehension of nurses was the determinant factor significantly related to implementation of ethics after controlled by workplace.

Based on the research finding, it's recommended to director of the MMC Hospital to review the existing nursing personnel development; and to conduct comprehensive training on nursing ethics for improvement of nurses' knowledge. Furthermore, recommendation is also directed to head of human resources development and nursing manager to strengthen and intensify nursing ethic internalization of nurse providers; create role model; and give reinforcement. It is also recommended to center of education for health personnel Diploma of Nursing Institution to review the curriculum; improving the learning strategy of nursing ethic. For Indonesian nurses association to develop guideline for conducive and operational supervision to nurses at workplace. More research with larger population, more variables, and using different research design."
