"Sebagai salah satu titik dibangunnya MRT Tahap Dua di Jakarta, Glodok dirasa memiliki urgensi yang tinggi untuk dapat dikembangkan lebih lanjut sebagai sebuah kawasan yang menerapkan Transit Oriented Development. Urgensi ini hadir karena beberapa hal yang salah satunya adalah karena populasi yang terus meningkat sehingga mengakibatkan tingginya jumlah lansia yang tentunya memiliki kondisi tubuh yang mengalami kekurangan kebugaran dan lebih rentan dalam terjangkit penyakit. Ditambah dengan kondisi banyaknya toko yang menjual obat tradisional cina disana membuat saya merasa bahwa kawasan Glodok ini memerlukan sebuah program berupa pusat pengobatan tradisional yang dapat menjaga kesehatan para lansia yang ada di kawasan Glodok serta menjadi pelengkap berupa pusat praktik pengobatan di tengah toko-toko eksisting yang menjual obat-obatan tradisional. Sehingga Glodok Traditional Chinese Healthcare (Shinse) ini pun hadir sebagai salah satu jawaban akan urgensi yang berkaitan dengan kesehatan para lansia yang ada disekitar. Dengan hadirnya Shinse ini diharapkan tidak hanya dapat menjadi naungan bagi kesehatan para lansia yang ada disekitar namun juga untuk memperkuat citra Glodok dari sebagai pusat kesehatan tradisional Cina di Jakarta.

As one of the nodes for the construction of MRT Phase Two in Jakarta, Glodok is felt to have a high urgency to be developed further as an area that implements Transit Oriented Development. This urgency exists for several reasons, one of which is the ever-increasing population, resulting in a high number of elderly who of course have a body condition that is deficient in fitness and is more susceptible to disease. Coupled with the many shops selling traditional Chinese medicine there, it makes me feel that the Glodok area needs a program in the form of a traditional medicine center that can maintain the health of the elderly in the Glodok area as well as a complement in the form of a medical practice center amid existing shops that selling traditional medicines. So that Glodok Traditional Chinese Healthcare (Shinse) is also present as one of the answers to the urgency related to the health of the elderly around. With the presence of Shinse, it is hoped that it will not only serve as a shelter for the health of the elderly around but also strengthen Glodok's image as a traditional Chinese health center in Jakarta."
