Examines separately the role of the internet, which is linked to many changes in patterns of media production, representation and to increased possibilities for diasporic and transnational communication.
Media evolve with changes of communication technology through mediamorphosis into new media. The same thing happened to democracy which evolve with the development of freedom of expression in communication known as "human can not not communicate". Thus, both the media and democracy utilize and complement each other making they always depend from one another. There are at least two views of the utopia and dystopia. On one side of utopia said that one of the perceived current interest is the growing role of new media as a low cost of political participation. However, dystopian view said that we need to realize both the media and democracy also undergone a process of marketization and they sometimes could not be deterministic between each other and reveal a political conspiracy. Therefore, when the desire to create a new media as a democratic process to the welfare of society should be discussed further."
