"Looking at the brutto premium of PT. Asuransi Jasindo and the development of loss insurance industry in Indonesia, it was obvious that the market competition of insurance industry was very competitive. Such competition could be handled if PT. Asuransi Jasindo could apply a marketing strategy that had a sustainable competitive advantage. This served as the background of the research which aimed at identifying the feasibility of applying the sustainable competitive advantage concept as the marketing strategy and to what extent it can be applied to identify competitive position of PT. Asuransi Jasindo towards other competitors in the loss insurance industry in Indonesia. The research adopted descriptive method through data collection in a form of secondary and primary data. The former used books, annual reports and other documents related with the research. As for the latter, questionnaires designed based on the Likert Scale were distributed to the personnel of PT. Asuransi Jasindo in the units in the head quarter office and 15 branch offices. The research adopted Boston Consulting Group (BCG) matrixs theory and the Sustainable Competitive Advantage (SCA) approach. The BCG matrixs was used to identify the competitive position of PT. Asuransi Jasindo towards the competitors in the loss insurance industry and the SCA approach here was to analyse the components of competitors covering own products familiarity, familiarity towards competitors, familiarty towards the competitors? products and the components of competition techniques comprising of cost advantage, product differenciation, market focus, pioneering products and market sinergy. The results of this research depicted that the competitive position of PT. Asuransi Jasindo in the loss insurance industry in Indonesia was in the star quadrant possessing the growth of long-run opportunities. The strategies that could be adopted were forward integration, backward integration, horizontal integration, market penetration, market development and product development. Whereas the results of analysis ofthe components of prequisite condition of SCA concept was things like the familiarity of own products, familiarity of competitors? products, cost advantage, product differenciation, market focus and pioneering products receiving good/high level category and as for being familiar with the competitors possessing very good/very high category whereas the market sinergy obtained relatively good/relatively high category. Therefore it could be concluded that the SCA concept could be adopted as the marketing strategy of PT. Asuransi Jasindo. The optirnalize the adopt on of the SCA concept as the marketing strategy that possessed the sustainable competition required mending and improvement of such strategies as market synergy, human resource development and the market extention."

"ABSTRAKAktivitas tape converting (double tape) berisiko mengakibatkan gangguan otot rangka (Gotrak). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan gambaran tingkat risiko Gotrak pada aktivitas tape converting di PT. H Bekasi. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dengan pendekatan semi kuantitatif. Sasaran penelitian yaitu seluruh karyawan pada aktivitas double tape converting sebanyak 11 orang pekerja. Tingkat risiko Gotrak diukur dengan lembar kerja REBA dan QEC, sedangkan keluhan subjektif menggunakan NBM. Penilaian QEC dan REBA mendapatkan hasil pekerjaan ini memiliki tingkat risiko sedang hingga sangat tinggi dan diperlukan perbaikan segera. Saran yang diberikan berupa pengendalian teknis, penggunaan alat bantu, pembuatan SOP, dan pelatihan.

ABSTRACT

Tape converting activities (double tape) has risk lead to MSDs. This research aims to describe MSDs risk level in workers of tape converting activities at PT. H Bekasi. This research uses descriptive with semi quantitative approach. The study population is all employees on that activities, total 11 workers. MSDs risk levels measured using REBA and QEC, meanwhile the subjective complaints of MSDs are described using NBM. Assessment of QEC and REBA shows that this activities have a medium to very high level of risk and need actions soon. The recomendations are engineering control, use tools, create SOP, and have training."

"Skripsi ini membahas mengenai pemeliharaan dan pelestarian koleksi audiovisual di Tape Library Metro TV meliputi pengawasan terhadap suhu ruangan, kelembaban relatif, debu yang menebal, perubahan mekanis, pengaruh radiasi ultraviolet dan cahaya, pengaruh medan magnetis, pengaruh peralatan replay dan playback, faktor bencana, dan kerjasama. Penelitian ini bertujuan memperoleh gambaran kondisi fisik koleksi dan lingkungan tempat penyimpanan di Tape Library Metro TV, memperoleh gambaran yang menyeluruh tentang kegiatan pemeliharaan dan pelestarian yang dilakukan di Tape Library Metro TV, dan memberikan masukan berupa saran prosedur teknis pemeliharaan dan pelestarian koleksi audiovisual di Tape Library Metro TV. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keadaan fisik koleksi audiovisual di Tape Library dalam keadaan baik, terlihat dari hasil survei yang dilakukan terhadap box atau kotak kaset audiovisual yang mengalami kerusakkan ringan seperti tergores atau retak. Keadaan ruang penyimpanan masih batas kewajaran terlihat pada pengaturan suhu dan kelembaban yang stabil. Agar Tape Library dapat menjalankan tugasnya dengan baik perlu adanya bagian khusus yang bertanggungjawab mengenai pemeliharaan koleksi meliputi pengawasan suhu, kelembaban, cahaya, dan lain-lain. Serta membuat peraturan standar mengenai suhu, kelembaban, dan pencahayaan yang dilewati oleh kaset audiovisual meliputi ruang penyimpanan, pelayanan, transfer, quality control , dan siaran.

This thesis discusses the maintenance and preservation of audiovisual collections in Tape Library Metro TV include room temperature supervision, relative humidity, dust thickening, mechanical changes, the influence of ultraviolet radiation and light, directonal magnetic field, the influence of replay and playback equipment, disaster factor, and cooperation. This study aims to obtain a description about collection and storage physical condition in Tape Library Metro TV environments, obtain a comprehensive description of the maintenance and preservation activities which be conducted in Tape library Metro TV, and make recommendation about maintenance and preservation technical procedures of audiovisual collections in Tape Library Metro TV. This is qualitative research with a case study approach. The results show physical state of audiovisual collections in Tape Library in good condition, seen from the result of survey which be conducated on the tape box or audiovisual boxes that have been damage such us scrathes or cracks. The situation of storage space is still within reasonable limits, seen at the setting of temperature and stable humidity. In order to make a type library working properly there should be a special section who responsible for the maintenance of the collection include temperature monitoring, humidity, light, and others. And also generate a standard rules concerning temperature, humidity, and lighting, which is passed by audiovisual tapes include storage space, service, transfer, quality control, and broadcast."
