and gradually diminished with age, Breastfeeding is nor the main mechanism
through which birthspacing offered Philippine child mortality. These findings

"The prevalence and severity of caries in children under three years old are constantly increasing. One of the cause is the increase consumption of cariogenic carbohydrate. Breast milk have buffer capacity that eventually able to prevent caries. The aims of this research are to discover the correlation between breastfeeding with the severity of Early Childhood Caries (ECC) in children under three years old, to provide information on prevalence and severity of caries in children under three years, and to explain factors influencing the incidence of ECC. This research designed cross sectionally and conducted upon 565 children aged 12-38 months, selected using multistage cluster random sampling. The ECC prevalence of children under three years in DKI Jakarta is 52.7%, with average score of def-t 2.85. Bivariate analysis showed that, variables which correlate with the level of ECC are; the way to deliver (p=0,012), frequency (p=0,002), duration (p=0,002), salivary buffer capacity (p=0.013), habitual consumption of sugary diet (p=0.005), child?s dental hygiene behavior (p=0.002), and mother?s education (p=0.001). Multivariate analysis showed that ECC can be explained by these variables: age, mother?s education, the way to deliver and frequency of breast milk complements/replacement of consumtions, child?s brushing habit, plaque pH, and salivary buffer capacity. Resulting determination coefficient 32.1%. There is no significant correlation between breastfeeding and the level of Early Childhood Caries (ECC). The role of protective qualities of breastfeeding are not shown because of bias in obtaining data influence the incidence of caries."

"Exclusive breastfeeding intention is a mothers intention to provide her baby only breast milk since the infant was born until at the age of 6 months. Intention in prenatal period is the direct affirmation of exclusive breastfeeding. This study aimed to find out the most dominant factor related to exclusive breastfeeding intention among pregnant women at a mother and child hospital in South Tangerang. A cross-sectional study design was conducted primarily. The samples were 143 pregnant women on their third trimester pregnancy selected by purposive sampling. Intention was measured by the Infant Feeding Intention scale questionnaire. Meanwhile, attitude, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control were measured by the modified Breastfeeding Attrition Prediction Tool questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the multivariate logistic regression analysis. It was 61.5% mother had strong exclusive breastfeeding intention. Perceived behavioral control dominantly influenced the exclusive breastfeeding intention (p value = 0.007 Odds Ratio 3.030 95% CI = 1.361 to 6.746). The other factors influencing intention were attitude, exposure to exclusive breastfeeding from social media, health workers support, previous breastfeeding experience and mothers occupation. A mother with high perceived behavioral control has three times more likely to have high exclusive breastfeeding intention than those having the low ones."

Adverse Childhood Experience (ACE) becomes an impactful event for someone. Its influence can continue into later stages of development in life. In Indonesia, there is an increase in cases of child abuse and neglect. Common understanding emphasizes the negative effects of ACE. However, this differs from what is found in real life cases, where individuals who experience ACE develop resilience and high prosocial behavior. This study aims to examine the relationship between ACE and prosocial behavior in emerging adults in Indonesia. The participants of this study were 275 individuals aged 18-29 who live in Indonesia. ACE were measured using the Adverse Childhood Experience International Questionnaire (ACE-IQ) and prosocial behavior was measured using the Prosocialness Scale for Adults (PSA). The results of the research analysis showed that the higher the frequency of negative childhood experiences (M=39.51, SD=9.31), the lower the frequency of prosocial behavior tendencies (M=61.56, SD=9.56). This demonstrates how Indonesians need to create good experiences in childhood, in order to help increase prosocial behavior in emerging adulthood."
