Maraknya isu global warming menarik perhatian kalangan umum.

ABSTRACT
The rise of the global warming issue attracted the attention of the public. Increased CO2 causes a greenhouse gas trigger energy efficiency in green building. The research was reviewing a green building project to be certified by the Green Building Council of Indonesia (GBCI) which is summarized in version 1.0 with targeted GOLD rating.its hipotized that gren construction needs additional cost than conventional. The method used in this study is survey and case studies on projects Jasa Marga by PT.PP Corporation (Corporation) on the implementation aspects of the Energy Efficiency and Conservation. This dominant factor changed the construction costs is the energy measurement with decrease the value of OTTV.By the case study cost, its changes about 3.24%."

This design study aims to explore the operation of alteration tactics as the basis for the energy architecture system. The operation of alteration tactics is important for the development of the architecture that can respond to environmental degradation and climate change on earth that is rapidly happening. Architecture can no longer act only as a consumer of energy, but architecture needs to change tactically and produce energy. To create the architecture of energy, we need a system that is developed based on exploration and analysis of production cycles from alternative energy on earth. On the other hand, this design traces the tactics used in a strategy game, such as soccer. An understanding of alteration tactics is utilized to respond to the changing situations that may occur so that the system designed will be able to maintain the continuity of the production and distribution of energy and substances and even make it a more efficient system. This study presents architecture as a part of the energy system that responds to changing situations. Through the design of an energy architecture system based on the operation of change tactics, architecture can play an active role in responding to a multitude."

"[Although fossil fuels remain the primary global energy source, developing and expanding economies are creating an ever-widening gap between supply and demand. Efficient energy management offers a cost-effective opportunity for both industrialized and developing nations to limit the enormous financial and environmental costs associated with burning fossil fuels. The implication of photovoltaic systems in particular presents the potential for clean and sustainable electrical energy to be generated from an unrestricted source. Energy management in buildings using photovoltaics demonstrates how adopting ‘best practices’ for energy management and harvesting can reduce the need to construct new generating facilities.
Illustrated with figures, tables and photos, Energy management in buildings using photovoltaics provides an introduction and step by step instructions on designing and planning photovoltaic systems and energy policies for both residential and industrial buildings. With particular focus on the example of provided by European industry, the creation of energy efficient systems is explored including chapters on : zero energy buildins, photovoltaics technology, and connection of the network.;Although fossil fuels remain the primary global energy source, developing and expanding economies are creating an ever-widening gap between supply and demand. "This book makes a case for a multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary approach to energy research—one that brings more of the social sciences to bear. Featuring eight studies from across the spectrum of the social sciences, each applying multiple disciplines to one or more energy-related problems. Case studies include energy transitions of households in developing countries, the ‘curse of oil’, politics and visions for renewables, economics and ethics in emissions trading, and carbon capture and storage.
