"ABSTRAKPenelitian ini berfokus pada proses MRP di Pabrik Sariwangi Industries yang bergerak di industri Teh. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi sistem MRP yang digunakan untuk merespon kondisi Teh nasional. Proses MRP harus mampu memberikan perusahaan informasi mengenai kebutuhan material untuk memenuhi permintaan konsumen sehingga perusahaan mampu meningkatkan competitive advantage. Untuk itu penelitian ini mengidentifikasi proses MRP di Pabrik Sariwangi Industries dan memberikan sebuah rancangan ulang proses MRP yang didukung oleh software yang mengintegrasi antara Production Planning & Inventory Control (PPIC), Admin Gudang, Purchasing dan Supervisor Pabrik sehingga perusahaan dapat melakukan proses MRP yang lebih baik.

ABSTRACTThis research focuses on the processes of MRP in Sariwangi Industries Factory who moving in the tea industry. Research carried out by identify the MRP system which used to respond to national tea condition. MRP process should be able to provide firm information regarding the material needs to meet consumer demand so that companies can increase competitive advantage. This study identifies processes in the plant MRP Sariwangi Industries and provide a redesign of the MRP process is supported by software that integrates among the Production Planning and Inventory Control (PPIC), Admin Warehouse, Purchasing and Supervisor Factory so that the company can genereate a better MRP process.
