"Penelitian sebelumnya menunjukkan hasil yang tidak konsisten pada hubungan antara kreativitas dan kinerja. Beberapa penelitian menemukan hubungan positif, sementara penelitian lain menemukan hubungan negatif atau tidak signifikan antara kreativitas dan kinerja. Hal ini mengindikasikan adanya mekanisme psikologis yang menghubungkan kreativitas dan kinerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan pengaruh grit sebagai mediator pada hubungan antara kreativitas dan kinerja, dengan mengacu pada investment theory of creativity. Partisipan merupakan 390 dosen aktif yang bekerja di berbagai perguruan tinggi di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode self-report dengan kuesioner daring. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran grit sebagai mediator tidak signifikan. Akan tetapi, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dimensi perseverance of effort berperan sebagai mediator pada hubungan antara kreativitas dan kinerja dosen. Sementara itu dimensi consistency of effort tidak berperan sebagai mediator pada hubungan tersebut. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa dimensi perseverance of effort merupakan dimensi yang lebih penting dibandingkan consistency of interest pada subyek dosen.

Previous studies found inconsistent results in the relationship between creativity and job performance, indicating an underlying mechanism to occur between the variables. This study aimed to examine grit as the mediator in the relationship between creativity and performance using investment theory of creativity. Participants were 390 active lecturers who worked in various universities in Indonesia. This study used self-report method with online questionnaire directed at lecturers.

The results of the study indicated that grit did not mediate the relationship between creativity and lecturer job performance. Further analyses showed that perseverance of effort dimension fully mediated the relationship, but consistency of interest dimension did not mediate the relationship. These findings showed that the perseverance of effort was an important mediator compared to consistency of interest in lecturers."

"Mahasiswa tahun pertama mengalami banyak perubahan dalam hidup mereka yang dapat menyebabkan stres (Santrock, 2006; Greenberg, 1999). Stres yang berlebihan dapat menghambat perkuliahan mahasiswa, sehingga menjadi hal yang penting dalam mengetahui variabel apa yang dapat mengatasi stres. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini ingin menguji apakah kreativitas merupakan variabel yang berkaitan dengan stres seseorang.Penelitian ini difokuskan pada mahasiswa tahun pertama jurusan arsitektur universitas Indonesia. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan accidental sampling. Jumlah sampel yang berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 55 mahasiswa. Stres pada mahasiswa tahun pertama Jurusan Arsitektur Universitas Indonesia diukur dengan Hassles Assessment Scale for Students in College dan kreativitas dengan Tes Kreativitas Figural (TKF). Penelitian ini tergolong penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain ex post facto field studies atau penelitian non-eksperimental.Hasil korelasi pearson ditemukan bahwa variabel kreativitas tidak berhubungan secara signifikan dengan stres pada partisipan (r= -0,108, p>0,05). Hal ini berarti kreativitas bukan merupakan variabel yang berasal dari dalam individu yang berkaitan dengan stres yang dialami oleh mahasiswa tahun pertama Jurusan Arsitektur Universitas Indonesia.

First year college students experience many changes in their life which can cause stress (Santrock, 2006; Greenberg, 1999). The excessive stress can obstruct the students during their study, so that it is important to know which variable can reduce the stress. This research wants to examine whether the creativity is correlate with the stress.

This research focuses at architecture first year college students Universitas Indonesia. The sampling technique used in this research is accidental sampling. The numbers of the participants are 55 college students. Stress at architecture first year college students is measured with Hassles Assessment Scale for Students in College and creativity is measured with Tes Kreativitas Figural (TKF). This research is a quantitative research with ex-post facto field studies design or nonexperimental studies.

Pearson correlation analysis demonstrate there is no significant correlation between creativity and stress at participants (r = -0.108, p>0.05). This finding implicates that creativity can`t be a variable from internal individual in the relationship with level of stress at architecture first year college students Universitas Indonesia."
