mengalami kekalahan.

The Japanese attack on the United States Military Base at Pearl Harbor aims to eliminate
the power of the United States in the Pacific. After the success in their attack, Japan tried to
seize the islands that was under control of the United States. In addition, to support its
naval power, Japan built an airfield on Guadalcanal. However, the development of the
airfield is known by the United States, so the United States sends their troops to seize the
airfield. The success of the United States in seizing the airfield that was being built by
Japan and Japanese efforts to reclaim the airfield resulted in the outbreak of the Naval
Battle of Guadalcanal. This study discussed the Japanese military strategy in the Naval
Battle of Guadalcanal in 1942. This study used qualitative research methods in order to
describe the military strategy used by Japan in the case studies taken. The results of this
study indicates that Japan chose an offensive military strategy against the United States,
although suffered defeat in the end.

"The events with which this volume deals form an episode with a certain organic unity and completeness. They include the almost indescribable battle of Stalingrad and the Russian recoil ; but they also take in the events in North Africa. They describe, therefore the ebb and flow of the tide which threatened the liberties of Western civilization ; and for the first time they suggest that unity of design which victory postulates in every successful campaign ..."

This thesis discusses the British troops who were doing their post-World War II duties namely AFNEI. In Sumatera, this troops were concentrated in some important cities such as Medan, Padang, Bukittinggi, and Palembang. In Sumatera, AFNEI was succeeded in taking away the Japanese weapons, evacuating them, gathering battlefield criminals, and evacuating APWI. On the other hand, this alliance also faced conflicts among Indonesians, NICA, and the Japanese colonials. AFNEI was also involved in that conflict as Indonesians suspected them to do something considered as cooperation among AFNEI, NICA, and the Japanese Colonials."

"What would a history that put women at the centre of the rise and fall of kingdoms be like? When the armies of Khubilai arrived on Java in 1293, they found themselves in the middle of two warring states. Two historical traditions developed concerning the ensuing events: the official Chinese dynastic records in which no women are mentioned, and a number of Javanese histories and poems in which everything depends upon the actions and fates of certain women. The Chinese account has long been regarded as factual, whilst the Javanese versions have been dismissed as mere romance, their women stereotypical representations of male fantasies."

"What is ethnicity? Is there a “white” way of speaking? Why do people sometimes borrow features of another ethnic group’s language? Why do we sometimes hear an accent that isn’t there? This lively overview reveals the fascinating relationship between language and ethnic identity, exploring the crucial role it plays in both revealing a speaker’s ethnicity and helping to construct it. Drawing on research from a range of ethnic groups around the world, it shows how language contributes to the social and psychological processes involved in the formation of ethnic identity, exploring both the linguistic features of ethnic language varieties and also the ways in which language is used by different ethnic groups. The first overview of this important topic, Language and Ethnicity will be welcomed by students and researchers in sociolinguistics, as well as anybody interested in ethnic issues, language and education, interethnic communication, and the relationship between language and identity.
