"Penelitian ini membahas Pidato Lenin yang berjudul Что Такое Советская Власть/ Čto Takoe Sovetskaja Vlast'/ Apa Itu Kekuasaan Soviet?. Analisis menggunakan teori Analisis Wacana oleh Van Dijk dan ditunjang dengan teori Kohesi dan Koherensi oleh Halliday dan Hassan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menenemukan makna implisit yang terkandung dalam pidato tersebut dengan melihat tiga unsur wacana, yaitu unsur teks sebagai struktur mikro, superstruktur, dan struktur makro yang terkait dengan, konteks atau analisis sosial, dan analisis kognisi sosial yang menghubungkan antara analisis teks dengan analisis sosial. Dari penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa makna implisit dalam pidato ini Lenin memperkenalkan kekuasaan Soviet tentang kekuasaan pemerintahan yang diatur oleh para buruh dan petani dilihat dari skema peran yang terdapat dalam analisis kognisi sosial.

This thesis discusses about the discourse analyses Lenin's speech which is the title Что Такое Советская Власть/ Čto Takoe Sovetskaja Vlast'/ What is Soviet Power?. The purpose of this research is to describe and interprate the impicit meaning of this speech with seeing three component of discourse, i.e text component as a micro component, context and social analyses as macro component, and social cognition which is connecting between macro component and micro component. This study suggest that the implicit meaning of this speech is about the government power which controlled by the worker and peasant seemed by model from social cognition."

"Perang Patriotik Besar merupakan perang terbesar dalam sejarah Uni Soviet. Peang ini terjadi pada tahun 1941-1945 antara Uni Soviet dan Jerman. Skripsi ini membahas tiga buah pidato yang disampaikan oleh Stalin pada masa itu. Secara khusus skripsi ini akan menganalisis secara kritis penggunaan unsur-unsur persuasif yang digunak oleh Stalin dalam ketiga pidato tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam skripsi ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan model deskripsi, eksplanasi dan interpretasi. Penulis menggunakan teori wacana kritis model Van Dijk untuk menganalisis data. Hasil penelitian ini adalah pemaparan secara kritis ketiga unsur persuasive, yaitu penggunaan kata sapaan, kata ganti dan gaya bahasa.

Great Patriotic War is the greatest war in the history of Uni Soviet Union. This war took place in 1941-1945 between the Soviet Union and Germany. This thesis discusses three speech delivered by Stalin at that time. In particular, this thesis will analyze critically the use of elements of persuations used by Stalin in those three speech. The research method used in this thesis is a qualitative methode with description, explanation, and interpretation models. The author use the theory of critical discourse, Van Dijk to analyze the data. The results of this study is the exposure to these three critical elements of persuasive, namely the use of the word greeting word, pronoun, and stylistics."
