the 2001 National Socio-Economic Survey (WSES) and 2001 National
Household Survey Survey (NHHS), including 3621 children under 10 years
of age, to investigate rife relationship between respiratory diseases and

who live in homes where 30 or more cigarettes are smoked each day are
significantly more likely to have various respiratory diseases than children

"This paper is housed on contraceptive switching in indonesia. Since a woman might use more than one method of contraception during her reproductive period she can contribute more than one contraceptive use interval to the data. Some studies of contraceptive switching have used statistical techniques which assume independence between switching but this assumption can be violated because the likelihood of switching might be correlated. Hence contraceptive switching varies not only across groups of contraceptive users but also across contraceptive users with the same socioeconomic characteristics. Hence the consequences of this contraceptive users' eject for the relationship between socioeconomic. demographic and contraceptive-related characteristics of users and contraceptive switching in indonesia is analysed through the use of random-ejects logistic models. The data used for the analysis is from the 1991 Indonesia Demographic and Health Survey. The findings confirm the results of previous studies that a number of socioeconomic and demographic factors influence the likelihood of switching contraception. Among these factors. contraceptive-related /actors such as the method being used before switching, the duration of use at switching and the reason for switching, affect contraceptive switching most. The results also indicate that there is correlation between intervals for the same woman. This implies that there are other factors which have not been observed and contribute to the differentials of switching contraception across women with the saute socioeconomic characteristics."

"many people hope to improve their own or their children's life abandon their own country and move to other places. One of the basic discussions in social sciences is the problem of the immigrant's intergration in the new place and the problem of how they can adopt themselves to the new environmental and cultural circumstances. Being an alien to the new cultural principles and values cause various behavioral and mental consequences for the immigrants. Nowadays, this has become a serious problem in many societies and has changed from a social phenomenon to a social problem. This study aims to explain and explore those factors which affecting mental health of migrants who were living in Islam Abad (West of Iran) under the time the research. data were collected through structured questionnaire from 600 migrants who were selected randomly. To test the hypotheses, Pearson correlation coefficient and analysis of variance were used. Multiple regression and path analysis were used to assess the research model. According tp the research findings, there is a significant relationship between the immigrants mental health and social capital (r=0 .73), coping strategies ( r=0 .65), and acculturation stress (r=0 .61). Regression results show that the five variables: social capital, social class, coping strategies, acculturation stress and maritas status have had significant effects on mental health. They have explained 75 percent of the changes in mental health (R2=0 .75). It should be mentioned that social capital has directly and most causal effect on mental health and income has indirectly and most causal effect on mental health. A high degreeof mental health among the immigrants is a result of an increase in the amount of social capital."

This undergraduate thesis examines the socio-economic factors that affect married women’s decision to work within five age groups (working age, 15-24, 25-35, 36-45, and 46-60). The study finds that education and husband’s wage significantly impact the likelihood of married women in Indonesia to enter the labor force. Other determinants such as number of children and age have insignificant correlation to probability of labor force participation. Furthermore, family life cycle theory occurs at some stages in Indonesia that affects the socio-economic factors. This research also provides information regarding inequality and cultural problems regarding marriage at the earliest of working age for further research to increase women’s labor force participation."

This evaluation conducted to assess the ability of the Madani Foundation to researching the palm oil sector. Madani Foundation is a non-governmental organization that focuses on issues of forest and land governance. Have various programs to influence government policy. However, in its programs, the Madani Foundation only uses secondary data at the regional and national levels, while in policymaking it also requires data at the society level so that the policies formulated are by community needs. In this paper, the authors offer a framework that can use for research to obtain data at the society level. This evaluation uses the analysis of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. The Data collected by using the observation method that is complemented and sharpened by the interview method of 3 informants. Based on the evaluation that has done, known the Madani Foundation is less able to implement the framework that offered. In terms of human resources, members of the Madani Foundation are limited in the field of field research, in terms of the use of data types so far the Madani Foundation tends only use numerical data at the regional and national levels, and in terms of the budget also the Madani Foundation does not allocate a budget for field research purposes. Thus, the authors recommend the Madani Foundation to be able to combine the use of numerical and narrative data in the program. The author also recommends providing upgrading skills for all members to support the use of more varied data in the program."
