"ABSTRAKSkripsi ini membahas penggunaan bahasa Jawa Tegal oleh orang Tegal yang tinggal di Jakarta dan Depok. Data penelitian didapatkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner. Terdapat 44 responden yang masuk dalam kriteria penelitian ini. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar orang Tegal tetap menggunakan bahasa Jawa Tegal walaupun telah tinggal di Jakarta dan Depok. Secara keseluruhan, para responden menggunakan bahasa Jawa Tegal saat berbicara dengan keluarga dan teman yang berasal dari Tegal. Namun, saat membicarakan topik resmi, responden lebih sering menggunakan bahasa Indonesia. Begitu pula saat berada di luar rumah, responden lebih sering menggunakan bahasa Indonesia. Ketika berkomunikasi di media sosial, responden cenderung menggunakan bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa campuran. Hasil lainnya adalah responden pria lebih sering menggunakan bahasa Jawa Tegal daripada responden wanita.

ABSTRACTThis thesis deals with the use of Tegal Javanese language by Tegal people who live in Jakarta and Depok. The data of this research are obtained through questionnaires. There are 44 respondents who meet the criteria in this research. The result of this research shows that the majority of the respondents still use Tegal Javanese. Overall, they use BJT when talking to family and friends who come from Tegal. However, when talking about the official topics, respondents were are likely to use BI. Similarly when outside the home, respondents are more likely to use bahasa Indonesia. When communicating in social media, the respondents tend to use bahasa Indonesia and bahasa campuran. In addition, male respondents use Tegal Javanese more than female respondents. "

"This study is aimed at describing the lexical of time, during day and night, in Klopoduwur village community. The data are collected through interview technique and then analyzed by using intralingual identity method. The result of analysis shows that javanese has rich number of lexical markers of time which are not found in other languages. The word 'wayah' is only equaled to the words which mean 'circular or repetitive'. Alignment of words either in the form of free morpheme or polimorfemis on the formation of lexical marker of time measurement has a grammatical 'time' and metaphorical meanings"
