"Imigran Turki datang ke negara Jerman semenjak dikirimnya pekerja-pekerja pada masa pemerintahan kekaisaran Ottoman pada awal abad ke-19 dan dibukanya kesempatan untuk menjadi Gastarbeiter pada tahun 1960. Orang Turki yang datang ke Jerman sekarang telah berintegrasi dengan kebudayaan Jerman. Namun di sisi lain, masih kerap terjadi rasisme dan diskriminasi yang menyebabkan munculnya stereotip terhadap orang Turki. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan apa saja stereotip orang Turki yang digambarkan dalam 2 bab pertama dari buku Einmal Hans mit scharfer So e 'Leben in zwei Welten' karya Hatice Aky n yaitu 'Neulich in der Parallelwelt' dan 'Mokkagl ser mit Goldrand'. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat stereotip-stereotip orang Turki di kalangan orang jerman. Dari stereotip yang telah dianalisis, hasilnya cenderung mengarah pada setereotip positif, sehingga dapat membantu orang Jerman untuk lebih memahami orang Turki.

Immigrants from Turkey has come to Germany since Turkey sent the workers during the reign of the Ottoman Empire in the early 19th century and the opening of the opportunity to become Gastarbeiter in 1960. The Turks who came to Germany now has integrated with German's culture , but on the other hand, discrimination and racism still happens and stereotypes of Turks starts to appear in Germany. This research aims to know and explain what kind of stereotypes, which is described in the first and second chapters of book by Hatice Aky n 'Einmal mit So e scharfer Hans Leben in zwei Welten i.e. 'Neulich in der Parallelwelt' and 'Mokkagl ser mit Goldrand'. The results showed that there are stereotypes of Turks among Germans. From the stereotypes that have been analyzed, the results are likely to lead to a positive setereotypes, it means that it can help Germans to understand Turks and its culture better."
