"Auxiliaries are one of the most complex areas of English syntax. Disagreement over both the principles and details of their grammar has been substantial. Anthony Warner here offers a new and detailed account of both their synchronic and diachronic properties. He first argues that lexical properties are central to their grammar, which is relatively nonabstract. He then traces in detail the history of processes of grammaticalization in their devel- opment, and claims most notably that we can identify a group of auxiliaries in English from an early period on formal, not just semantic, grounds. This book meets the dual challenge of accounting for both the grammar and the history of the English auxiliary. "Dengan ditetapkan Undang-Undang Nomor 23 tahun 2019 tentang Pengelolaan Sumber Daya Nasional untuk pertahanan negara, Resimen Mahasiswa (Menwa) kembali ditetapkan sebagai komponen pendukung pertahanan negara. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode preskriptif dari permasalahan penyusunan dan penetapan pedoman pelaksanaan pembinaan yang saat ini dihadapi oleh Resimen Mahasiswa Universitas Inodnesia, dengan menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder dari beberapa sumber. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan saran dan rekomendasi kepada para pemangku kepentingan dalam menyusun dan menetapkan pedoman pelaksanaan pembinaan Resimen Mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia baik sebagai Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM) maupun sebagai komponen pendukung pertahanan negara di tengah dalam reformasi sektor keamanan nasional sehingga dapat ikut mewujudkan daya tangkal terhadap segala wujud ancaman.

The assignment of Law No. 23/2019 on National Resources Management for National Defense, Student Regiment reassigned as the supporting component in national defense. This research applies is a qualitative research with prescriptive method, to suggest and recommend solutions on recent problems, with primary and secondary data from several sources. This reseach could be determinated by the stakeholders to prepare and assign the guidance regulation for Student Regiment of University of Indonesia, both as student activity unit and as the supporting component in national defense. in the middle of security sector reform both as Student Activity Unit and also as Defense Support Component, and it’s contribution in detterent development against all forms of threat."
