Penelitian ini akan menjawab pertanyaan tentang bagaimana latar belakang kehidupan Sultan Muhammad Salahuddin, dan bagaimana perjuangan dan pengabdian yang dilakukan oleh Sultan Muhammad Salahuddin sebagai Sang Ma Ka Kidi Agama. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode sejarah dengan teknik pengumpulan data dari sumber-sumber sejarah baik berupa buku-buku maupun jurnal yang terkait dengan Sultan Muhammad Salahuddin. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya perjuangan dan pengabdian Muhammad Salahuddin mulai di saat menjabat sebagai Sultan sampai akhir kepemimpinannya baik di bidang pendidikan, agama, maupun di bidang sosial politiknya.

This study aims to find out the efforts of Sultan Muhammad Salahuddin as Sang Ma Ka Kidi Religion or who enforces Islam in Bima. This study answers questions about the life background of Sultan Muhammad Salahuddin, and how the struggle and devotion carried out by Sultan Muhammad Salahuddin as Sang Ma Ka Kidi Religion. The method used in this research is the historical method with data collection techniques from historical sources in the form of books and journals related to Sultan Muhammad Salahuddin. The results of this study indicate the struggle and devotion of Muhammad Salahuddin from the time he served as Sultan until the end of his leadership both in the fields of education, religion, and in the socio-political field."
