"ABSTRAKPenelitian ini membahas tentang proses pengawetan arsip rekaman suara di Arsip dan Museum Sekretariat Jenderal & BK DPR RI. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana kegiatan pengawetan arsip rekaman suara yang diterapkan di bidang Kearsipan dan Museum Sekretariat Jenderal & BK DPR RI, upaya apa saja yang dilakukan untuk pengawetan arsip rekaman suara, serta kendala yang dihadapi. berpengalaman dalam mengawetkan arsip rekaman suara. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan metode penelitian studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengamati dan mewawancarai beberapa informan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan yang dilakukan dalam pengawetan arsip rekaman suara berupa media transfer dan scanning. Upaya pelestarian arsip meliputi upaya preventif (pencegahan) dan kuratif (perbaikan), serta kendala yang dihadapi dalam pengawetan arsip rekaman suara. Upaya ini akan menjadi contoh Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) pengawetan arsip yang diterapkan pada Arsip dan Museum Sekretariat Jenderal & BK DPR RI untuk melindungi arsip yang sudah dimiliki.ABSTRACTThis research discusses the process of preserving sound record archives at the Archives and Museum of the Secretariat General & BK DPR RI.
