"In globalization era, regional culture that related to the tradition through a difficult phase. The reason that made this thing happen is the explosion of internet media. Internet--either social media or social networking--would be central position to internalizing an influence on society. Not only the society was silenced, various agencies or group from local culture was using internet as their preservation ways. Starting with internet and blogs, to use social networks, such as facebook, instagram, etc, to promote the preservation that they did. According from displacement of preservation medium, i saw that this thing isnt about change, but there is a negotiation that was created by the group--which they are from tradition culture--with signs on globalization. So, in this article, i would like to discuss about negotiations. Because the internet nearly with media studies, so i try to understand about that negotiation with mediatization theory. I used two methods to answer the question, literate study and explore media in internet. The results were interesting, negotiations are conducted in shaping patterns of us is different from before. As a result that i got, i hope this article can help the reader to understand the changes and can be maintained the of tradition essence preservation."

"Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya ketertarikan pada masih lekatnya sebutan kyai dan jawara sebagai pemimpin bagi orang Banten. Beberapa literatur yang ditulis oleh orang Belanda, seperti Meijer (1949) den Loze (1933), dan yang ditulis oleh orang Indonesia, seperti Sartono Kartodirdjo (1966) dan A. Hamid (1987), memperlihatkan bahwa kedua pemimpin tersebut telah berpengaruh sejak zaman penjajahan Belanda. Bahkan dalam cerita rakyat dikatakan, kedua pemimpin tersebut ada sejak zaman kesultanan Banten yang pertama (kira-kira pada abad ke-16). Keberadaannya yang sudah lama, dan tetap sampai sekarang, menunjukkan betapa lestarinya kedua pemimpin tersebut. Kelestarian inilah yang menjadi pendorong untuk segera dicaritahu mengapa-nya. Kemudian dipilihlah desa Pasanggrahan sebagai lokasi penelitian, karena di desa ini pernah ada kyai (meninggal tahun 1985) pendiri Satuan Karya Ulama Indonesia dan ada jawara pendiri Persatuan Pendekar Persilatan Banten. Dalam struktur organisasi Satuan Karya (Satkar) Ulama itu terdapat Departemen Pemuda dan Pendekar, yang berarti sebagai isyarat adanya kesatuan antara kyai (ulama) dan jawara (pendekar). Kelestarian kyai dan jawara dalam kepemimpinan masyarakat diduga mempunyai kaitan dengan keseluruhan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang agama dan magi yang diacunya. Kepemimpinan kyai tentu berkaitan dengan agama; dan kepemimpinan jawara tentu berkaitan dengan magi, sebab magi menjanjikan kekuatan yang dibutuhkan oleh jawara. Untuk memperoleh jawaban dari mesalah tersebut dilakukanlah pendekatan struktural fungsional, yaitu pendekatan yang memandang sistem-sistem sosial budaya yang menekankan bahwa struktur-struktur yang diamati itu menunjukkan fungsi-fungsi dalam suatu struktur tertentu. Artinya, elemen-elemen dalam suatu struktur terjalin dalam suatu jaringan sistem. Dan setiap elemen terdiri dari elemen-elemen yang lebih kecil yang juga terjalin dalam suatu jaringan sistem. Dalam hal ini, agama dan magi dipandang sebagai elemen-elemen yang satu sama lain saling memberi dan menerima sumbangan, sehingga elemen-elemen tersebut terjaring dalam satu jaringan sistem (sistem budaya). Kemudian, berdasarkan teori aksi (theory of action) menurut Talcott Parsons, hubungan sistem tersebut diturunken pada sistem sosial yang ternyata diperlihatkan oleh perilaku kepemimpinan kiyai dan jawara. Jadi sistem sosial (perilaku kepemimpinan) ini ternyata ditentukan oleh sistem budaya; namun juga sistem sosial mempengaruhi sistem budaya. Hubungan antara sistem budaya dan sistem sosial ini disebut dengan hubungan sibernetik. Jadi kelestarian kepemimpinan kiyai dan jawara itu disebabkan karena perilaku keduanya dalam kepemimpinan, masing-masing merupakan elemen dalam sistem sosial yang mempunyai hubungan sibernetik dengan agama dan magi dalam sistem budaya. This essay is to describe how Franches have viewed the incoming immigrants as a minority group in France. The French historical perspectives of the Middle Ages, two of which are the societal group formation and the Declaration of Human Rights and Citizenship as the result of French Revolution in 1789 have great influence on the French mind set, including their way considering the immigrants. In line with it, the debates referring the concept of multiculturalism have been going on. The last part of the article elucidates the multicultural representation of the cultural identities in French cinemas and music with various ethnics, religions and cultures, including appearing stereotypes of the immigrants."

"Penelitian ini membahas tentang dimensi etis (etika makanan/food ethics) terhadap pola perilaku makan yang muncul dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Pola makan seseorang ternyata dibentuk dari latar belakang budaya yang dimilikinya dengan berbagai perubahan sosial- budaya yang terjadi (gaya hidup, rekayasa bio-teknologi, ekpresi simbolik, masuknya ideologi). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa perilaku makan seseorang berkaitan dengan dimensi etis dalam melihat tentang ?yang baik? dan ?buruk? pada proses pembuatan dan pemasaran makanan dan berdampak pada munculnya masyarakat konsumtif.

This research described that the ethical dimensions (food ethics) of the food?s pattern of human beings is coming from their lifes. So, the food?s pattern of human beings was also built and constructed from their culture with many social culture changes, for example, life style, bio-technology, symbolic expression, and ideologies. The results shows that the eating habitat has ethical dimensions about ?the good? and ?the bad? in the processing and the marketing of food and making issues of the consumer society by implication."
