Besides being a means of industry related to society, mass media, such as advertisements, are often used to show events that occur in society worldwide. This research analyzes two advertisements from German Amazon Prime entitled Rapunzel braucht keinen Prinzen and Kleopatra hat einen Sinneswandel, which are based on the legendary fairy tales of the Grimm brothers and the historical story of the Queen of Egypt. These two advertisements portrayed deconstructive images of the characters Rapunzel and Cleopatra. This research uses textual analyses and semiotics methods to analyze how Prime’s advertisements deconstruct the image of Rapunzel and Cleopatra. This research finding shows that the women’s images constructed by the media are contextual."

"The degrading environment of the planet is something that touches everyone. This book offers an introductory overview of literary and cultural criticism that concerns environmental crisis in some form. Both as a way of reading texts and as a theoretical approach to culture more generally, 'ecocriticism' is a varied and fast-changing set of practices which challenges inherited thinking and practice in the reading of literature and culture. This introduction defines what ecocriticism is, its methods, arguments and concepts, and will enable students to look at texts in a wholly new way. Boxed sections explain key critical terms and contemporary debates in the field with 'hands-on' examples and comparisons. Timothy Clark's thoughtful approach makes this an ideal first encounter with environmental readings of literature."

The Western has proven itself to be a massively influential film genre within the history of Hollywood, leaving its mark on the industry for decades since its first arrival. However, the genre has found itself to be in such a declining state over the years that it no longer holds a position in the industry. Nowadays, new forms of this genre have introduced themselves as a reflective vessel to look back upon the golden years and to comment on its original roots. This research examines the way these new storytelling approaches serve as the foundation for contemporary films to make remarks on the Western, primarily Classic and Revisionist Western, from several perspectives found within the cinematic frame. Through this analysis, it is argued that it is possible to obtain interpretations on how different filmmakers voice their opinion on the state of the genre in contemporary times by analyzing their utilization of the Post-Heyday Western concept in No Country for Old Men (2007) and Logan (2017), as well as how it correlates to certain thematic discussions revolving around aging."

"Mohammed Arkoun is one of international modern Islamic thinkers that his thought comes into Islamic thinking discourses in Indonesia recently. His Islamic thought was influenced by the modern philosophical concepts such as 'myths' of Ricouer, postmodern concepts like 'discourse' and 'episteme', which were developed by Foucault as well as 'deconstruction' of Derrida. If Derrida focused on deconstruction as a final concept, on the other hand Arkoun insisted that 'deconstruction' must be followed by 'reconstruction' of a discourse. Arkoun's reconstruction leaves the limitation, the rigidity and deviation from the past. Arkoun proposes two ways: firstly it is 'ijtihad' and subsequently it is Islamic critical reason with the whole of critical meaning. In this research I used the method of library investigation. Based on the result I came into the conclusion that Arkoun loss the communication with the scholars in the Islamic world, particularly in the Middle East tradition. Since, he applied the method of deconstruction that Islamic world percept it was going too far."
