"In this book, the author asserts that the groundwork for this recent transformation was laid in the late nineteenth century, with the translation of the evolutionary works of Lamarck, Darwin, and Spencer into Chinese letters. He traces the ways that the evolutionary narrative itself evolved into a form of vernacular knowledge which dissolved the boundaries between beast and man and reframed childhood development as a recapitulation of civilizational ascent, through which a beleaguered China might struggle for existence and claim a place in the modern world-system. This narrative left an indelible imprint on China's literature and popular media, from children's primers to print culture, from fairy tales to filmmaking. Jones's analysis offers an innovative and interdisciplinary angle of vision on China's cultural evolution. "Skripsi ini membahas tentang bentuk frasa verbal dari struktur kelas kata pembentuknya. Frasa verbal dalam Bahasa Rusia memiliki tipe ikatan pengendalian dan penggabungan. Untuk menganalisis data, metode yang digunakan ialah deskriptif analisis, mulai dari mengumpulkan dan mengelompokkan data. Korpus yang digunakan merupakan tiga buku dongeng anak Rusia yang sangat digemari pada masanya dan sampai saat ini. Pada analisis ketiga dongeng anak Rusia ini ditemukan dua tipe ikatan frasa verbal yaitu ikatan pengendalian dan penggabungan. Hasil analisis ini membentuk gambaran dalam menentukan ikatan sintaksis pada frasa verbal.

This thesis discusses the forms of verbal phrases from Word constituent class structure. Russian's verbal phrases has bond of syntax, consist of bond of control, adjustment and incorporation. To analyze the data, used descriptive analysis method, start from collecting and categorizing data analysis. Corpus that is used is three children's fairy tale books of Russia, which aare very popular in their time and until recently. On the analysis of three children’s fairy tale books of Russia, founded two bond types of verbal phrases, bonds of adjustment and bonds of incorporation. The results of this analysis is to form syntactic representations in determining bond on a verbal phrase."
