"Meningkatnya volume perdagangan ternak hidup antar negara di dunia, khususnya sapi, berdampak besar terhadap armada cattle carrier sebagai kapal pengangkut ternak lintas negara. Selain keharusan untuk menambah jumlah armadanya, ruang muat pada cattle carrier juga harus dirancang seideal mungkin agar selama dalam pelayaran sapi tidak mengalami stress, cedera atau hal-hal lain yang dapat menyebabkan nilai jual muatannya menjadi turun akibat menurunnya kualitas daging. Maka untuk itu, terlebih dahulu perlu diketahui kondisi fisik sapi seperti berat rata-rata, konsumsi pakan dan air, kotoran, dan mempelajari sisi psikologis seperti suhu dan perilakunya dalam kawanan, agar dapat membuat rancangan dari jalur masuk dan keluar, konstruksi kandang yang berbentuk diagonal, lantai anti slip, ruang pakan, ventilasi, kelistrikan, tangki air dan tangki kotoran, yang nyaman buat sapi. Selain itu, hal-hal seperti perlunya ruang karantina, untuk sapi yang sedang cedera, hamil, atau kemungkinan penyakit hewan yang dapat menular ke sapi lain atau manusia, juga menjadi faktor penting dalam merancang ruang muat cattle carrier.

Increasing of livestock trading volume between country ini the world, especially for cattle, has make impact to cattle sarrier units as cross country livestock ship. Beside the quantity of transportation units must be upgraded, the design of catle carrier cargo hold must be ideal so cattle not get stress when shipping, injured, and oyhers, which can make the decreasing of cargo value as meat quality. So first, cattle,s phisic condition must be known, include average weight, food and water consumption and its habbit in group, to make a design of of lanes system, diagonal pens construction, non-slip flooring, food room, ventilation, electrical, water and septic tank, which can make cattle comfort. Otherwise, carantine room for injured, pregnant cattle or probability of animal desease that can influence to other cattle or human, also be an important factor to design the cattle carrier cargo hold."

"Seorang penembak dalam kendaraan tempur pengangkut personil akan bekerja dalam posisi setengah berdiri pada keadaan statis dan dalam jangka waktu yang lama. Hal tersebut beresiko menyebabkan terjadinya WSDM. Penelitian ini mengevaluasi dan meredefinisi postur kerja penembak dalam lingkungan virtual dengan menggunakan software simulasi ergonomi, Jack 6.1.
Redefinisi postur kerja dilakukan pada penambahan kursi dan pijakan kaki, dengan penyesuaian pada tinggi kursi dan sudut pijakan untuk mendapatkan konfigurasi kursi yang ideal bagi tentara. Postur duduk yang terbentuk dari seluruh konfigurasi yang diujikan dinilai dengan menggunakan metode Posture Evaluation Index (PEI). Hasil penelitian berupa usulan kursi yang ergonomis bagi tentara Indonesia.

A gunner in an Armoured Personnel Carrier Vehicle are positioned in a half- standing static posture in a long period of time, with the risks of WMSD. This study evaluates and redesigns the working posture of a gunner in the virtual environment, using an ergonomics software simulation, Jack 6.1.
Working posture redefinition is made by adding seat and foot support, with adjustments on the height of seat, and inclination of foot support to obtain the ideal configuration for the soldiers. Sitting posture which is formed from all the tested configurations is assessed using the method of Posture Evaluation Index (PEI). The result from this study is to design an ergonomic seat passenger models for Indonesian Soldiers.

"Gizi buruk merupakan kejadian kronis dan bukan kejadian yang tiba-tiba. Kelemahan pada kasus gizi buruk yang mencuat akhir-akhir ini adalah lemahnya akan pemantauan status gizi di suatu daerah. Untuk mengetahui kekurangan gizi khususnya pada anemia gizi besi biasanya dipantau dengan pengambilan sampel darah di suatu daerah, baik di perkotaan, pedesaan maupun di daerah terpencil. Pengambilan sampel darah di lapangan tidak terlepas dari media penyimpanan yang biasanya memakai ice box dengan menggunakan iced pack sebagai media pendinginannya. Penyimpanan sampel darah ini penting artinya untuk menghindari kerusakan sampel darah yang diperoleh dan keakurasian pengukuran parameter yang dibutuhkan di Laboratorium. Kelemahan media penyimpanan ice box tersebut adalah ketergantungan pada iced pack yang sebelumnya harus didinginkan dalam pendingin/kulkas, daya tahan pendinginan yang tidak terukur dengan pasti, serta terbatasnya kapasitas iced pack untuk menjaga temperatur optimum sampel darah pada 4-6°C.
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan alat Blood carrier dengan sistem pendinginan elemen peltier ganda dan heat sink fan sehingga dapat memenuhi standar prosedur transportasi darah. Dari hasil pengujian, blood carrier mampu menurunkan suhu ruang dibawah 6°C dalam waktu 44 menit tanpa beban. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan mampu Untuk memudahkan peneliti mendapatkan sampel darah yang terjaga kualitasnya di daerah pedalaman yang sulit dijangkau, baik pengambilan sampel darah pada manusia untuk kebutuhan pemantauan kondisi gizi maupun untuk mendapatakan sampel darah binatang khususnya primata untuk kebutuhan penelitian kedokteran lainnya misalanya masalah virus.

The insufficient nutrient is a chronic epidemic and commonplace spreads mostly at the suburb area and rural. Recently, it emerges because of the unmonitored nutrient's growth for the society living in these areas. Taking the blood sample is a common method to observe this epidemic, especially anemia. These samples are taken from the societies living at cites, suburbs, and rural areas. This must be supported by good blood storages to avoid the blood's destruction and to generate the accuracy of test's results at the laboratory. The common storage is an ice box that uses iced pack as a cooler mediator. Unfortunately, some shortcomings of this ice boxes -as the blood carrier- are their high dependency on the iced pack -that firstly must be cooled at a refrigerator/cooler-, un exactly measured of its cold endurance, and the limited capacity to keep the optimum temperature, about 4-6°C.
The objective of this research is to develop a blood carrier supported by double peltier element cooling system and heat sink fan to meet the good qualification of blood transportation's procedure. The result of the research is blood carrier that has been designed can lower maximal the blood cabin's temperature to under 6°C in 44 minutes without load. May the result of this research could facilitate researchers to get the wellmaintained blood sample especially from the suburbs and rural areas. Basically, this result might also properly be used for the research of mammalian, viruses, and others medical purposes.

"[ ABSTRAK
Adanya peraturan Menteri Kelautan dan Perikanan nomor 56 dan 57 tahun 2014 yang bertujuan untuk meminimalisir kegiatan illegal fishing berdampak pada banyaknya kapal perikanan yang berhenti beroperasi. Salah satunya adalah KM. Mitramas 6 yang merupakan jenis kapal angkut ikan. Agar KM. Mitramas 6 dapat dioperasikan kembali, maka perlu adanya suatu terobosan yang dilakukan. Untuk itu pada Tugas Akhir ini, penulis hendak melakukan modifikasi pada KM. Mitramas 6 dengan tujuannya agar kapal dapat dioperasikan kembali sebagai kapal jenis lain.
Modifikasi yang dilakukan adalah dengan melakukan utilisasi fungsi dari kapal angkut ikan menjadi kapal angkut barang dan penumpang. Modifikasi yang dilakukan mecakup modifikasi tata ruang, modifikasi sitem sanitari dan sewage, serta serta analisis konstruksi dari salah satu bagian pada kapal. Dari hasil yang didapat, diketahui bahwa kapal hasil modifikasi layak untuk dioperasikan menjadi jenis kapal angkut barang dan penumpang.

"Penelitian ini telah dilakukan untuk mendukunh kelengkapan daya ukuran pada desain dasar irradiator gamma ISG-500. Perhitungan ini dilakukan dengan memperhatikan layout dan gambar mekanik dari betuk fisik carrier pada desain dasar irradiator gamma ISG-500 serta menggunakan rumus-rumus aturan trigonometri di segitiga. Hal tersebut berfungsi sebagai acuan pengambilan data ukuran dan pembuatan sketsa gerak melingkar dua buah carrier yang berdekatan, sedangkan rumus-rumus trigonometri digunakan untuk menyelesaikan perhitungan jarak minimal antar carrier mengacu pada sketsa yang dibuat. Dari perhitungan ini diperoleh nilai ukuran jarak minimal antar carrier sebesar 184,8mm. Nilai ini diharapkan bisa melengkapi data perhitungan mekanis pada desain dasar irradiator gamma ISG-500."

"This paper presents new carrier-based and carrier-less ultra-wideband (UWB) transmitter architectures and their CMOS implementation. The carrier-based transmitter designed using a
0.18-μm CMOS process adopts a double-stage switching to enhance RF-power efficiency, reduce dc-power consumption and circuit complexity, and increase switching speed and
isolation. Measurement results show that the generated UWB signal can vary from 2 V peak-to-peak with 3-dB 4-ns pulse width to 1 V with 0.5 ns, covering 10-dB signal bandwidths from 0.5
to 4 GHz, respectively. The generated UWB signal can be tuned to cover the entire UWB frequency range of 3.1 to 10.6 GHz. The carrier-less transmitter integrates tuning delay circuit,
square-wave generator, impulse-forming circuit, and pulse-shaping circuit in a single chip using a standard low-cost 0.25-μm CMOS process. It can generate monocycle pulse and Gaussian-type impulse (without the pulse-shaping circuitry) signals with tunable pulse duration. Measured results show that the carrier-less transmitter can produce 0.3?0.6 V peak-to-peak monocycle pulse with 140?350 ps tunable pulse-duration and 0.5?1.3 V peak-to-peak impulse
signal with 100?300 ps tunable pulse-duration."
