"Kebutuhan telekomunikasi akan layanan berbasis data, suara, dan video terus mengalami peningkatan. Salah satu terobosan telekomunikasi untuk menjawab kebutuhan ini adalah fasilitas Metro Ethernet yang di Indonesia salah satunya dikembangkan oleh PT Telkom. Layanan Metro Ethernet ini terus disempurnakan secara berkelanjutan oleh PT Telkom termasuk melalui anak perusahaannya, Telkomsel. Untuk mengantisipasi tingginya traffic akses mobile broadband 3G, Telkomsel menyiasatinya dengan memanfaatkan Metro Ethernet yang menggunakan jaringan fiber optic miliki PT Telkom. Dalam usaha meningkatkan kehandalan infrastrukur jaringan Metro Ethernet ini maka perlu dilakukan analisa kinerja jaringan melalui parameter SLA (Service Level Agreement). Parameter SLA ini terdiri dari throughput, frame loss, latency, serta back to back dan diukur berdasarkan metode RFC 2544.

Nowadays , the telecommunication needs of data, voice, and video based service keep increasing. One of the telecommunication breakthrough regarding to this high demand is Metro Ethernet facility, which in Indonesia is developed well by PT Telkom. This service is improved continously by PT Telkom including by Telkomsel as its subsidiary. In order to antic_pate the dense of 3G broadband mobile acess traficc , Telkomsel get into exploitating PT Telkom fiber optic in its Metro Ethernet operation.As the effort of increasing the reliability of Metro Ethernet network infrastructure , analysis of network performance by SLA parameter (Service Level Agreement) is very important to do. This parameter consists of throughput, frame loss, latency, as well as back to back and tested by RFC 2544 method."

"Kebutuhan bandwidth layanan mobile broadband terus mengalami peningkatan. Dalam mendukung layanan mobile broadband ini, Telkomsel telah meng-upgrade kapasitas akses dengan mengimplementasikan teknologi Metro Ethernet berbasis serat optik untuk akses antara RNC dengan Node-B. Skripsi ini menganalisis dan mengevaluasi implementasi jaringan Metro Ethernet PT Telkom untuk mobile backhaul Telkomsel di area Jakarta. Dari hasil kajian diperoleh tingkat reliabilitas jaringan Metro Ethernet PT Telkomsel di Jabodetabek mencapai 0,967 dan tingkat availabilitasnya mencapai 99,99% dengan titik kritis jaringan pada segmen patch cord. Dari kecenderungan pertumbuhan kebutuhan bandwidth dan jumlah pelanggan diprediksikan kebutuhan bandwidth pada triwulan III tahun 2010 adalah 7,93 Gbps dan pada triwulan IV tahun 2010 adalah 8,98 Gbps.

Bandwidth needs of mobile broadband services keep increasing. In support of this mobile broadband service, Telkomsel has upgraded access capacity by implementing the technology of optical fiber-based Metro Ethernet for access between the RNC with the Node-B. This thesis is to analyze and evaluate the implementation of PT Telkom's Metro Ethernet network for mobile backhaul Telkomsel in the Jakarta area.

The study of Telkomsel's Metro Ethernet in the Jakarta area results level of network reliability of 0.967 and availability level of 99.99% with a critical point on the network segment of the patch cord. From the trend growth of bandwidth requirements and the number of subscribers predicted that bandwidth requirements in the third quarter of 2010 is 7.93 Gbps and in the fourth quarter of 2010 is 8.98 Gbps."

"Proses implementasi layanan Virtual Account tidak mampu bersaing dengan bank pesaing saat ini, sementara layanan ini sangat berpotensi meningkatkan pendapatan bank. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan evaluasi penerapan layanan Virtual Account yang sudah berjalan selama ini, serta mengidentifikasikan faktor-faktor yang menghambat proses implementasi layanan Virtual Account di Permata Bank. Analisis terhadap hasil evaluasi dengan membandingkan kondisi sekarang dengan standar yang berlaku menggunakan teoti benchmarking, serta merekomendasikan saran-saran perbaikan untuk meningkatkan Service Level Agreement (SLA). Hasil yang ingin dicapai adalah peningkatan SLA layanan Virtual Account sehingga dapat bersaing di pasar melalui perbaikan proses. Virtual Account implementation process was not able to compete with competitors bank today, while the service is potential to increase the revenue of banks. This study aims to evaluate the application of Virtual Account service that has been running for this, as well as to identify the obstacles from the process of virtual account implementation.

The result will be analyzed by comparing current conditions with the standards using benchmarking theory, and recommend suggestions for improvements to increase the Service Level Agreement (SLA). Results to be achieved is an increase in SLA Virtual Account services that can compete in the market. Untuk mengatisipasi peningkatan kebutuhan pelayanan LAN dimasa datang, seperti aplikasi multimedia dan video konference diperlukan peningkatan performansi jaringan dengan menggunakan Gigabit Ethernet.Penerapan Jaringan Gigabit Ethernet di GKP PT TELKOM selain dapat meningkatkan kecepatan penyaluran data, sampai orde Gigabit per detik, juga jarak link antar node memungkinkan untuk diimplementasikan pada jaringan LAN, serta dapat mengoptimalkan berbagai fungsi aplikasi pemrosesan data yang telah dilaksanakan seperti inquiry, transfer data, data entry dll.Tesis ini bersisi suatu perencanaan sistem LAN menggunakan Gigabit Ethernet yang realistis dan dapat segera dimplimentasikan di GKP PT TELKOM, dengan mengoptimalkan jaringan yang ada (upgrade), penggantian Network Interface Card (NIC) dengan NIC Gigabit Ethernet pada sistem komputer terpasang.Untuk mengetahui performansi suatu Jaringan LAN dengan berbasis Ethernet seperti throughput, delay time dan utilisasi kanal, maka dilakukan simulasi jaringan terhadap salah satu model jaringan ethernet dengan menggunakan software OPNET Versi 3.51

ABSTRACT

Local Area Network (LAN) system using Ethernet and token ring technology has been applied in Central office of PT TELKOM. To anticipate demand application in the near future, increasing performance of the Local Area Network using Gigabit Ethernet can be applied.

By using Gigabit Ethernet in central office of PT TELKOM, it can increase the transmission data rate (Gigabit per second), spread link between the nodes suitably for LAN and to optimize data processing applications which has implemented such as inquiry, transfer data, data entry etc.

The realistic LAN system planning using Gigabit Ethernet is presented in this thesis. Its can be applied in central office of PT TELKOM by optimizing the existing LAN network and up grading the Network Interface Card (NIC) using Gigabit NIC in the computer system.

By using software program OPNET version 3.51 for simulation of Ethernet network model, we know performance of base Ethernet network . There are three measurement of LAN performance are commonly used Throughput, Delay and Utilization of LAN network."

"Perkembangan teknologi membuat penggunaan kontrak elektronik sudah tidak asing lagi, termasuk dalam pembuatan perjanjian berlangganan IndiHome Fiber oleh PT Telkom dengan pelanggannya. Dalam penggunaan kontrak elektronik berlangganan IndiHome ini memunculkan beragam isu hukum yang mengarahkan pada terjadinya krisis pada legalitas kontak. Oleh karena itu, skripsi ini bertujuan untuk menelusuri bagaimana keabsahan kontrak elektronik tersebut dalam perjanjian berlangganan layanan IndiHome Fiber dan bagaimana metode autentikasi yang ada hingga terdapat kepercayaan dalam bertransaksi elektronik. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa kontrak elektronik berlangganan IndiHome adalah sah karena terpenuhinya syarat sah perjanjian, meskipun belum dapat mengakomodir syarat subjektif suatu perjanjian yaitu kecakapan para pihak namun tidak menyebabkan perjanjian itu sendiri batal. Selain itu metode autentikasi yang digunakan dalam kontrak elektronik berlangganan IndiHome adalah autentikasi terhadap identitas dari subjek perjanjian dan tidak terhadap objek perjanjian. Dengan demikian disarankan agar Telkom sebagai pelaku usaha menerapkan tanda tangan digital yang memiliki Sertifikat Elektronik dari Certification of Authority yang akan melakukan autentikasi terhadap subjek maupun objek perjanjian, dan tentunya memiliki nilai pembuktian yang kuat.

The development of technology makes the use of electronic contracts familiar, including in the making of IndiHome Fiber subscription agreement by PT Telkom with its customers. In the use of electronic contracts subscription IndiHome this raises a variety of legal issues that lead to the occurrence of crisis on the legality of contact. Therefore, this thesis aims to explore how the validity of the electronic contract is in the subscription agreement IndiHome Fiber service and how authentication methods exist into trust in electronic transactions. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive design. The result of this research is that IndiHome 39 s electronic subscription contract is valid due to the fulfillment of the valid terms of the agreement, although it has not been able to accommodate the subjective requirements of the agreement that is the parties 39 capability but does not cause the agreement itself void. Additionally the authentication method used in the IndiHome subscription electronics contract is authentication against the identity of the subject of the agreement and not against the object of the agreement. Therefore recommended that Telkom as a business actor apply a digital signature that has an Electronic Certificate from the Certification of Authority that will authenticate the subject and the object of agreement, and certainlyhas a strong evidentiary value."

GPON will be tested as an alternative technology and used for retail customers. After the simulation of several model scenarios, the result for the retail business fit for use if it worth for POP construction and distribution networks investment until the 4th year. Profit margin obtained in the 5th year and positive NPV amount Rp 658,289,416,564. With the installation scenarios and CPE material carried by other operators and set top box comes from government subsidies"
