"Kapal merupakan salah satu armada angkutan yang memiliki peranan vital. Perdagangan, ekspor-impor, dan industri tidak dapat terlepas dari sarana angkutan berupa kapal. Dalam pengoperasiannya, kapal membutuhkan daya mesin yang sesuai sehingga kecepatan kapal tercapai. Penggunaan bahan bakar yang sehemat mungkin menjadi hal yang sangat penting. Penghematan bahan bakar erat kaitannya dengan hambatan kapal yang terjadi.Penghematan pemakaian energi pada pengoperasian kapal menjadi topik yang menarik dan sangat penting untuk dikaji.
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mencari konfigurasi S/L optimum untuk mendapatkan nilai hambatan terendah sehingga akan mengurangi konsumsi bahan bakar pada saat kapal beroperasi dan membandingkan nilai hambatan yang terjadi pada kapal katamaran dan monohull. Dua buah model kapal catamaran dengan lambung simetris dan variasi rasio jarak lambung S/L 0,2 , 0,3 dan 0,4 digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Metode eksperimen (towing tank) dan numerik (HullSpeed- MaxsurfPro 11.12) dilakukan dalam penelitian denganvariasi kecepatan pada angka Froude 0.2 -1.0.
Hasil menunjukkan bahwa hambatan total kapal katamaran terbesar dengan rasio jarak lambung S/L 0,4 terjadi pada Fr < 0,3 dan Fr 0,4 - 1,0. Sedangkan untuk Fn 0,3 - 0,4 nilai koefisien hambatan terbesar dimiliki oleh rasio S/L 0,2 yang ditunjukkan dengan puncak hambatan gelombang paling tinggi (hump resistance). Dari hasil kedua metode menunjukkan bahwa monohull menghasilkan nilai hambatan yang lebih besar daripada katamaran khususnya pada 0.4 ≤ Fn ≤ 0.8.

Ship is one of the transportion that has a vital role. Trade, exports - imports and industry can't be separated from means of transportation of ship. In operation, the vessel requires engine power accordingly so that the ship's speed is reached. The use of fuel efficient as possible becomes very important. Fuel savings is closely related to resistance vessels occurs. Saving energy consumption on the operation of the ship became an interesting topic and very important to assess.
The purpose of this study to look for the configuration S / L optimum to obtain the lowest resistance values so that will reduce fuel consumption when the vessel to operate and compare the value of resistance that occurs in catamaran and monohull.Two models of catamaran with symmetrical and variation of unstagerred demi hulls configuration(S/L) 0.2, 0.3 and 0.4 used in this study. Experimental method (towing tank) and numerical (HullSpeed-MaxsurfPro 11:12) conducted the study with the velocity variations in the Froude number 0.1 -1.0.
The results showed that the total resistance of the largest catamaran with unstagerred demihulls configurationS/L 0.4 occurred at Fr <0.3 and Fr 0.4 to 1.0. As for the Fn from 0.3 up to 0.4 the value of the total resistance coefficient of the biggest obstacles is owned by the ratio S/L 0.2 as indicated by the highest peak of the wave resistance (Hump resistance). From the results of both methods showed that the monohull produces greater resistance value than catamaran partially 0.4 ≤ Fn ≤ 0.8.

"Full Maintenance Contract (FMC) merupakan salah satu lini bisnis dari departemen service PT United Tractors Tbk. dalam melakukan kontrak perawatan dengan pelanggan. Terdapat beberapa hal penting sebagai tolok ukur berhasilnya bisnis FMC ini, yang pertama dari sisi eksternal (ke pelanggan) adalah unit performance PA (Physical Availability) dan yang kedua dari sisi internal (ke perusahaan) adalah bisnis performance GP (Gross Profit). Biaya perawatan merupakan salah satu faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap pencapaian profit FMC, dimana persentase terbesar dari biaya perawatan adalah biaya penggantian komponen mayor (Engine, Transmission, Axle) yaitu mencapai 46%. Berdasarkan pengamatan pada studi kasus Proyek FMC Adaro Tanjung, perlu dilakukan aktifitas Prolong Lifetime Component Engine agar biaya perawatan sampai dengan akhir periode kontrak lebih efisien. Dengan memperhatikan K3LH dan memperhatikan potensi resiko proyek ini dikerjakan dengan beberapa kombinasi tools analisa, yaitu diantaranya FMEA dan Fishbone Diagram Analysis. Hasil perbaikan dalam proyek ini mampu meningkatkan lifetime component Engine HD1500-7 sebesar 47%, dari rata-rata awal 17000 jam operasi menjadi 25000 jam operasi. Serta telah menerapkan 3 aspek keinsinyuran yaitu KEEI, K3LH dan Profesionalisme

Full Maintenance Contract (FMC) is one of the business lines of the service department of PT United Tractors Tbk. There are several important things as Key Performance Indicator for the success level of this FMC business, the first is for the external side (to customers) is the PA (Physical Availability) performance unit and the second for the internal side (to the company) is the GP (Gross Profit) business performance. Maintenance costs are one of the most affected factor to the achievement of FMC's profit, where the largest percentage of maintenance costs is came from replacing major components (Engine, Transmission, Axle), which reaches 46%. Based on observations in the Adaro Tanjung FMC Project case study, it is necessary to carry out Prolong Lifetime Component Engine activities so that maintenance costs are more efficient until the end of the contract period. By paying attention to K3LH and paying attention to potential risks, this project was carried out using several combinations of analysis tools, namely FMEA and Fishbone Diagram Analysis. The results of the improvements in this project were able to increase the lifetime of the Engine HD1500-7 component by 47%, from an initial average of 17,000 hours of operation to 25,000 hours of operation and has implemented three aspects in engineering the three aspects are KEI, K3LH, and professionalism.

"[ ABSTRAK
Adanya peraturan Menteri Kelautan dan Perikanan nomor 56 dan 57 tahun 2014 yang bertujuan untuk meminimalisir kegiatan illegal fishing berdampak pada banyaknya kapal perikanan yang berhenti beroperasi. Salah satunya adalah KM. Mitramas 6 yang merupakan jenis kapal angkut ikan. Agar KM. Mitramas 6 dapat dioperasikan kembali, maka perlu adanya suatu terobosan yang dilakukan. Untuk itu pada Tugas Akhir ini, penulis hendak melakukan modifikasi pada KM. Mitramas 6 dengan tujuannya agar kapal dapat dioperasikan kembali sebagai kapal jenis lain.
Modifikasi yang dilakukan adalah dengan melakukan utilisasi fungsi dari kapal angkut ikan menjadi kapal angkut barang dan penumpang. Modifikasi yang dilakukan mecakup modifikasi tata ruang, modifikasi sitem sanitari dan sewage, serta serta analisis konstruksi dari salah satu bagian pada kapal. Dari hasil yang didapat, diketahui bahwa kapal hasil modifikasi layak untuk dioperasikan menjadi jenis kapal angkut barang dan penumpang.

"Kebutuhan kapal sebagai sarana angkut utama pada mega proyek lahan gambut sejuta hektar di Kalimantan Tengah dirasakan semakin mendesak. Selain untuk menghubungkan antar daerah. transportasi merupakan faktor penunjang yang penting dalam penumhuhan ekonomi di daerah tersebut.
Namun kendala yang dihadapi, daerah tersebut rentan terhadap erosi yang diakibatkan gelombang air, maka salah satu jenis kapal yang sesuai untuk daerah tersebut adalahjenis kapal Katamaran. Kekhususan dari kapal ini adalah memiliki dua buah lambung yang dihubungkan secara paralel. Kapal ini selain memiliki ruang muat yang besar dan gelombang yang ditimbulkannya relatif kecil, juga memiliki stabilitas yang baik jika dibandingkan dengan kapal berlambung tunggal (monohull).
Bahan kapal katamaran tersebut direncanakan menggunakan komposit fiberglass. Pemilihan bahan ini disesuaikan dengan kondisi air lahan gambut yang bersifat korosifterhadap bahan tertentu, terutama Iogam besi. Selain bersifat tahan korosif juga mudah dilcerjakan dan dapat menggunakan peralatan yang relatif sederhana sehingga cocok untuk dikembangkan pada daerah tersebut.
Perhitunan kekuatan memanjang dan melintang merupakan salah satu bagian dari proses perancangan kapal. Ukuran profil, berat kapal dan kondisi gelombang merupakan bagian dari permasalahan kekuatan kapai yang memerlukan perhitungan yang berulang-ulang untuk mendapatkan hasil rancangan yang baik. Perhitungan kekuatan memanjang dan melintang tersebut dilakukan pada kondisi kritis yang berbeda-beda."

"Pemeliharaan kondisi mesin di industri membutuhkan kecepatan dan kemudahan, salah satu metodenya adalah dengan analisis getaran. Getaran mesin menyebabkan pola suara yang diemisikan mesin, di mana suara mesin satu bercampur dengan mesin lainnya. Blind Source Separation (BSS) merupakan teknik memisahkan sinyal campuran berdasarkan sifat kebebasan statistik antar sumber. Melalui simulasi dengan beberapa motor dan susunan mikrofon sebagai sensor, didapatkan data suara campuran dari beberapa motor yang terekam melalui tiap mikrofon. Intensitas sinyal yang diterima mikrofon berbeda satu sama lain, tergantung pada jarak dan sudut datangnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memisahkan sinyal campuran dari tiap mikrofon sehingga didapatkan sinyal estimasi sumber untuk mendeteksi kerusakan motor. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh pemisahan sinyal terbaik dalam Time-Domain ICA. Sinyal estimasi tersebut dianalisis untuk menentukan kondisi kerusakan mesin berdasarkan pola frekuensi sesaatnya.

Abstract
Maintenance of engine conditionin the industry requires speed and convenience, one of the method is by vibration analysis. Machine?s vibration causes the machine emitted sound pattern, in which an engine sound mixed with other machine?s. Blind Source Separation (BSS) is a technique to separate mixed signals based on the statistical independence properties between the sources. Through simulation with several motors and the composition of the microphones as the sensor, noise mixture data obtained from some motors recorded by each microphone. The signal intensity received by microphone are different from each other, depending on the distance and angle of arrival. The purpose of this study is to separate the mixed signals from each microphone to obtain estimation of the signal source to detect the motor damage . Based on the research, obtained the best signal separation in the Time-Domain ICA. Signal estimation is analyzed to determine the condition of an engine failure patterns based on instantaneous frequency."

"Proses ship recycling kapal memerlukan prosedur yang efektif dan efisien untuk memastikan pemilahan dan penanganan material serta perlengkapan kapal berjalan dengan baik, sesuai dengan regulasi yang berlaku, dan ramah lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan memberikan rekomendasi yang dapat mengembangkan prosedur pemilahan dan penanganan hasil daur ulang kapal pada ship recycling facility di Indonesia. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan kajian regulasi nasional dan internasional terkait, serta perumusan rekomendasi untuk prosedur pemilahan dan penanganan hasil kegiatan daur ulang kapal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemilahan material berdasarkan jenis dan kondisi fisiknya sangat penting untuk memaksimalkan nilai daur ulang dan meminimalkan limbah berbahaya. Rekomendasi prosedur yang dihasilkan mencakup langkah-langkah detil mulai dari identifikasi material, identifikasi proses penanganan, dan rekomendasi proses pemilahan dan penanganan material dan perlengkapan kapal. Implementasi prosedur ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi proses daur ulang kapal, mengurangi risiko terhadap lingkungan dari HAZMAT, serta memberikan panduan praktis bagi industri terkait.

The ship recycling process requires effective and efficient procedures to ensure the sorting and handling of materials and ship equipment are conducted smoothly, in accordance with applicable regulations, and environmentally friendly. This research aims to provide recommendations that can develop sorting and handling procedures for ship recycling facilities in Indonesia. The study reviews national and international regulations related to ship recycling activities and formulates recommendations for sorting and handling procedures. The research findings indicate that sorting materials based on their type and physical condition is crucial for maximizing recycling value and minimizing hazardous waste. The recommended procedures include detailed steps from material identification, handling process identification, to recommendations for sorting and handling materials and ship equipment. Implementing these procedures is expected to enhance the efficiency of ship recycling processes, reduce environmental risks from hazardous materials (HAZMAT), and provide practical guidance for related industries."
