"After completion of the shore protection works, the structural and the sand fill components are susceptible to damage. Therefore, continuing monitoring needs to be programmed comprehensively. Operational monitoring consists of periodic inspection and measurement performed to obtain information necessary to make an updated assessment of the project state on a periodic basis. Periodic inspection includes visual survey, terrestrial photograph, and walking inspection, while measurement includes shoreline and cross-section of structures. Based on the result of the data analysis of Sanur beach year 2004-2006, the shoreline suffers deterioration and loss of beach fill from the condition before the handing over of the project compared to the monitoring result on September 2006. The average loss of beach fill is 15.52% (49.747 m3) compared to year 2004 (before handing over the project). The greatest shoreline recession happened at area L84-G32 with the rate of 8.65 m from shoreline when the project was finished (2004). The recession is estimated due to an offshore transport of material beach fill because of the presence of a trough in front of the coastal structure. Entirely, the rate of shoreline recession at Sanur beach reaches 1.28 m per year."

"Pengamatan dan analisa perubahan garis pantai di wilayah pesisir perairan Cisadane, Provinsi Banten menelusuri sepanjang garis pantai dari Tanjung Pasir sampai dengan Rawa Saban telah dilakukan pada bulan Juli dan November 2005. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan garis pantai tahun 2005 di tumpang susun dengan hasil analisis digitasi garis pantai dari Citra Landsat-5 TM p122r064 tahun 1997 ditemukan ada beberapa lokasi yang terjadi abrasi dan akresi. Hal ini kemungkinan disebabkan oleh aktivitas manusia maupun akibat fenomena alam (arus yang kuat dan gelombang besar) yang terjadi pada musim tertentu.

Observation and Change Analysis of Coastline in the Cisadane Coast, Banten Province. The observation of coastline in the Cisadane coastal waters, Banten Province from Tanjung Pasir to Rawa Saban were carried out in July, 2005 and November, 2005. Based on the results of observation coastline in the year of 2005 and over lay with the results of coastline digitation analysis from image landsat 5 TM in the year 1997, we found several abration and acration areas, which may be due to the effects of human activities and natural fenomena such as, hight current and hight wave during moonson over that area."

"Desa Tanjung Burung merupakan sebuah wilayah yang terletak pada muara sungai. Posisi tersebut membuat struktur okupasi masyarakat di dalamnya memiliki keterkaitan dengan kondisi lingkungan muara sungai. Struktur okupasi masyarakat muara cenderung berada pada sektor primer. Namun saat ini, kondisi lingkungan muara Sungai Cisadane mengalami penurunan kualitas pada intensitas pencemaran air sungai, frekuensi banjir, dan intensitas pencemaran air tanah. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis keterkaitan antara penurunan kualitas lingkungan dan perubahan struktur okupasi, serta analisis terhadap kualitas hidup masayarakat. Dalam melakukan pengumpulan dan pengolahan data, penelitian ini menggunakan strategi eksploratoris sekuensial. Proses ini mengacu pada peta geografis Desa Tanjung Burung pada tahun 1996, 2006, 2016; data kependudukan tahun 1995, 2000, 2005, 2011, 2016; serta data kualitas lingkungan tahun 1995 hingga 2017. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan dalam kurun waktu 20 tahun masyarakat mengalami penguatan struktur okupasi pada sektor tersier. Hasil uji regresi logistik menunjukkan bahwa faktor yang menyebabkan perubahan struktur okupasi masyarakat yang terjadi dalam rentang waktu 1995 ndash; 2017 paling signifikan terjadi dalam rentang waktu 2001 - 2006. Indikator penurunan kualitas lingkungan yang mempengaruhi adalah penurunan kualitas air tanah. Lebih lanjut, penguatan struktur okupasi pada sektor tersier belum mampu meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat Desa Tanjung Burung.

Tanjung Burung Village is an area located on the river mouth. The position makes the occupational structure of the community has a relationship with the environmental conditions of the river mouth. The occupational structure of the estuary community tends to be in the primary sector. However, at present, the environmental condition of the Cisadane River estuary has a quality degradation in terms of the intensity of river water pollution, the frequency of flooding, and the intensity of groundwater contamination. This study aims to analyze the relationship between environmental degradation and changes in occupational structure, and analysis on the quality of life of the community. In collecting and processing data, this research uses sequential exploratory strategy. This process refers to the geographical map of Tanjung Burung Village in 1996, 2006, 2016 Population data of 1995, 2000, 2005, 2011, 2016 as well as environmental quality data from 1995 to 2017. The results of this study show that within 20 years the community has strengthened occupational structure in the tertiary sector. The result of logistic regression test shows that the factors causing the change of occupational structure of society that occurred in 1995 2017 period most significant occurred in the period of 2001 2006. The indicator of the environmental quality degradation that influence is the degradation of groundwater quality. Furthermore, the strengthening of occupational structure in the tertiary sector has not been able to improve the quality of life of Tanjung Burung villagers."
