"Dalam kehidupan manusia, pasti akan berakhir dengan kematian. Ketika seseorang meninggal dunia, pada umumnya orang tersebut meninggalkan hartanya kepada orang-orang terdekat. Oleh karena itu, pembagian warisan menjadi hal yang penting bagi kebanyakan orang. Akan tetapi, tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa masih banyak orang yang tidak mengetahui tentang bagaimana sebenarnya sistem pembagian warisan di Korea Selatan dengan budaya patriarki yang kuat, hasil pengaruh dari Konfusianisme. Jurnal ini menganalisis tentang budaya patriarki dan pembagian warisan di Korea Selatan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah budaya patriarki mempengaruhi pembagian warisan di Korea Selatan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode pustaka. Temuan dari penelitian ini adalah Konfusianisme dengan budaya patriarki yang kuat memiliki pengaruh terhadap pembagian warisan di Korea Selatan pada zaman dahulu, sedangkan di masa modern ini, pengaruhnya sudah semakin melemah.

In this life, people will inevitably end in death. When someone dies, it?s usual that person leaves the property to those who have a close relationship. Therefore, the inheritance becomes important for most people. However, it is undeniable that there are still many people who do not know about how the actual inheritance systems in South Korea with a strong patriarchal influence of Confucianism. This journal analyzes of patriarchy and inheritance in South Korea. The purpose of this research was to determine whether the patriarchal culture affect the distribution of inheritance in South Korea. The method used is descriptive qualitative method. Data collection method used is the litterature method. The result of this research is the Confucian patriarchy has a strong influence on the distribution of inheritance in South Korea?s away back, but right now, in the modern period, the influence has been weakened."

"Skripsi ini menganalisis hubungan negara dan bisnis di balik kesuksesan meluasnya produk dan konten industri kreatif Korea Selatan di tingkat global melalui gelombang kebudayaan yang disebut hallyu (Korean Wave). Meskipun Krisis Finansial Asia mencoba mengkompromikan kapasitas negara dalam kebijakan industri, kasus hallyu menunjukkan bagaimana pemerintah memanfaatkan industri kreatif Korea Selatan sebagai respons atas tantangan globalisasi kontemporer. Metodologi yang digunakan studi ini adalah kualitatif dengan teknik mengumpulkan data berupa studi literatur dan wawancara semi-terstruktur yang didukung oleh data primer dari pemerintah Korea Selatan. Dengan menggunakan kerangka adaptive partnership dan governed interdependence, skripsi ini menjelaskan hubungan negara dan bisnis dalam hallyu melalui tiga dimensi yang menjadi temuan dalam penelitian ini. Pertama, penulis menemukan bahwa peran gagasan developmental state Korea Selatan masih melegitimasi pelembagaan hubungan negara dan bisnis dalam kasus kebijakan industri kreatif seusai Krisis Finansial Asia. Kedua, dimensi ekonomi-keamanan yang meliputi jaminan akses pasar luar negeri dan ancaman kompetisi di kawasan menjadi motif pendorong perkembangan hallyu. Terakhir, hubungan negara dan bisnis dalam hallyu terletak pada pengaruh berbasis aktor yang meliputi (1) struktur koordinasi birokrasi, (2) peran asosiasi bisnis yang kohesif dan (3) jejaring negara dan swasta baik domestik maupun transnasional menjadi peran kunci dalam kesuksesan industri kreatif Korsel melalui hallyu.

This thesis analyzes the state and business relations behind the success of expanding product and content of South Korea's creative industries at the global level through a wave of cultures called hallyu (Korean Wave). Although the Asian Financial Crisis tries to compromise the state capacity in industrial policy, the hallyu case shows how the government uses South Korea's creative industry in response to the challenges of contemporary globalization. The methodology used in this study is qualitative with the technique of collecting data in the form of literature studies and semi-structured interviews supported by primary data from the South Korean government. By using an adaptive partnership framework and governed interdependence, this thesis explains the relationship between the state and business in hallyu through three dimensions which are the findings in this study. First, the author found that the role of the idea of the South Korean developmental state still legitimized the institutionalization of state and business relations in the case of creative industrial policies after the Asian Financial Crisis. Second, the economic-security dimension which includes guaranteeing access to foreign markets and the threat of competition in the region is the driving motive for the development of hallyu. Finally, state and business relations in hallyu lie in actor-based influences which include (1) the structure of bureaucratic coordination, (2) the role of cohesive business associations and (3) state and private networks both domestic and transnational become key roles in the success of South Korea's creative industries through hallyu."

"Proyek akhir ini membahas tentang pengaruh Undang-Undang Diplomasi Publik Korea Selatan ditinjau dari peran industrialisasi budayanya. Undang-Undang Diplomasi Publik mempunyai tujuan untuk meningkatkan citra negara Korea Selatan. Citra negara bagi Korea Selatan sangat penting untuk menguatkan posisi mereka sebagai negara dengan kekuatan menengah serta untuk mengurangi persepsi negatif akibat konflik dengan Korea Utara. Dengan menggunakan konsep diplomasi publik serta metode sejarah, penelitian ini menganalisis alasan Korea Selatan memerlukan Undang-Undang Diplomasi Publik kemudian pelaksanaan diplomasi publik setelah pengesahan undang-undang tersebut dan manfaat dari undang-undang itu terhadap peningkatan citra negara Korea Selatan yang ditinjau secara kritis dari peran industrialisasi budaya Korea Selatan. Industrialisasi budaya Korea Selatan mencakup musik, festival film dan pariwisata. Industrialisasi budaya ini kemudian dimanfaatkan oleh Korea Selatan dalam diplomasi publiknya yang sejalan dengan penerapan Undang-Undang Diplomasi Publik. Hasil dari penelitian kemudian, memperlihatkan benar-benar ada peningkatan citra negara Korea Selatan setelah adanya Undang-Undang Diplomasi Publik yang dipengaruhi oleh industrialisasi budaya Korea Selatan.

This final project discusses the influence of South Korea's Public Diplomacy Law in terms of its cultural industrialization role. The Public Diplomacy Law has the objective of enhancing the image of the country of South Korea. The country's image for South Korea is very important to strengthen their position as a middle power country and to reduce negative perceptions due to conflict with North Korea. By using the concept of public diplomacy and historical methods, this study analyzes the reasons South Korea needs a Public Diplomacy Law then the implementation of public diplomacy after the ratification of the law and the benefits of the law on improving the image of the country of South Korea which is critically reviewed from its role South Korean cultural industrialization. South Korea's cultural industrialization includes music, film festivals and tourism. This cultural industrialization is then used by South Korea in its public diplomacy which is in line with the implementation of the Public Diplomacy Law. The results of later research show that there is actually an increase in the image of the country of South Korea after the Public Diplomacy Act was influenced by the industrialization of South Korean culture."
