"ABSTRAKReaktor down-flow hanging sponge (DHS) merupakan salah satu sistempengolahan biologis attached growth reactor yang dapat digunakan dalammengolah air limbah domestik. Prinsip kerja reaktor menggunakan media yangterbuat dari spons sebagai media filtrasi dan tempat melekatnya lapisan biofilm.Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan reaktor DHS skala laboratoriumdengan sampel air limbah domestik yang berasal dari asrama UniversitasIndonesia. Nilai HRT optimum diperoleh melalui efisiensi penyisihan CODtertinggi yaitu selama 4 jam. Dengan penggunaan HRT 4 jam effluent yangdihasilkan adalah sebagai berikut BOD 38,08 mg/L, COD 109,16 mg/L, zat padattersuspensi 4 mg/L dan ammonia 45,15 mg/L dengan efisiensi penyisihan BOD73,1%, COD 65%, zat padat tersuspensi 90,7% dan ammonia 75,69%.Penggunaan HRT yang lebih lama diharapkan dapat memperbesar efisiensipenyisihan sehingga nilai baku mutu dapat tercapai.

ABSTRACTDown-flow hanging sponge (DHS) reactor is one of biological treatments usingattached growth reactor which can be used in processing domestic waste water.The principal of this reactor is using sponges as the filtrate media and the biofilmlayer attachment space instead. This research is done by using laboratory scaleDHS in processing domestic waste water derived from the dormitory ofUniversity of Indonesia. The optimum HRT obtained by the highest COD removalefficiency that was in 4 hours. The 4 hours HRT that was used effluent results inBOD 38,08 mg/L, COD 109,16 mg/L, TSS 4 mg/L, and ammonia 45,15 mg/Lwith the removal efficiency of BOD 73,1%, COD 65%, TSS 90,7% and ammonia75,69%. The use of longer HRT may increase the removal efficiency to meet theeffluent standard of domestic wastewater."

"ABSTRAKGantung diri merupakan metode yang lumrah digunakan sebagai metode bunuh diri meskipun demikian tidak semua kasus kematian dengan jeratan pada leher merupakan kasus gantung diri. Pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara karakteristik jejas jerat dengan kasus gantung diri. Karakteristik jejas jerat yang dimaksud adalah derajat suspensi, jumlah lilitan, bentuk jejas, titik tumpu jejas, dan lebar jejas jerat.Metode: Penelitian menggunakan 179 sampel yang berasal dari data sekunder dari rekam medis forensik Rumah Sakit Cipto Mangunkusumo tahun 2009-2015.Hasil Penelitian: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan bermakna p=0,00 antara derajat suspensi dengan kasus gantung diri. Penelitian juga menemukan adanya hubungan bermakna p=0,00 antara jumlah lilitan dengan kasus gantung diri. Hubungan bermakna juga ditemukan antara bentuk jejas dengan kasus gantung diri p=0,00 . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan bermakna p>0,05 antara letak titik tumpu jejas dan lebar jejas dengan kasus gantung diri.Pembahasan: Hubungan yang bermakna antara derajat suspensi dengan kasus gantung diri karena kelaziman bunuh diri dengan gantung diri tersuspensi komplet atau inkomplet . Jejas jumlah lilitan juga berhubungan juga sesuai dengan teori di mana gantung diri lebih lazim dengan satu lilitan. Bentuk jejas jerat pun memiliki hubungan yang bermakna dengan kasus gantung diri karena jejas terbentuk akibat beban tubuh korban sehingga memiliki bentuk O dan V.Kesimpulan: Dapat disimpulkan bahwa beberapa karakteristik jejas jerat, yaitu: derajat suspensi, jumlah lilitan, dan bentuk jejas jerat, memiliki hubungan dengan kasus gantung diri.

ABSTRACTIntroduction Hanging oneself is a common method used as a method of suicide, though not all cases of death with strangulation wound is a case suicide. In this study aims to see the relationship between the characteristics of strangulation wound with cases of hanging caused by suicide. Characteristics of strangulation wound in question are the degree of suspension, the number of windings, the shape of the wound, the weight point of the wound, and the width of the strangulation wound.Methods The study used 179 samples derived from secondary data from Rumah Sakit Cipto Mangunkusumo forensic medical record of 2009 2015.Results The result showed that there is significant correlation p 0,00 between suspension degree and self hanging. The study also finds a significant association p 0.00 between the number of loops with a self hanging case. A significant association was also found between the shape of the wound and the self hanging case p 0.00 . The results showed no significant relationship p 0.05 between the location of the weight point and width of the wound with the case of self hanging.Discussion A significant relationship between degree of suspension and hanging cases due to the prevalence of suicide by hanging oneself complete suspension or incomplete . Number of loops also corresponded also in accordance with the theory in which hanging ones more commonly with a single loop. The shape of the wound also has a meaningful relationship with the case of hanging himself because wound formed due to the victim 39 s body weight so it has the form of O and V.Conclusion It can be concluded that some characteristics of strangulation wound, such as degree of suspension, number of loops, and the shape of wound have associations with the self hanging case.
