Indonesia's rich cultural heritage shapes a society that is closely connected to the creative industry. Despite the enormous potential and the government's considerable efforts, this sector's progress is hindered by the stigma associated with artists. Especially regarding the uncertainty of the welfare of art workers. This study uses a quantitative approach through descriptive and regression analysis, also a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews to find the welfare conditions of art workers. The research measures poverty and inequality to provide a clear and specific picture and measures the factors that influence the welfare of artists through Logit regression analysis. The research results prove and find the welfare conditions of art workers. The poverty rate tends to be lower, but with a fairly high level of inequality. While the factors that contribute greatly to inequality are the level of education and regional development disparities. Likewise, this study explains the determinant variables of welfare, which are more determined by individual variables rather than macro-regional variables. The interview results also confirmed the findings of the data analysis findings. The artist also emphasized that the welfare of artists is more represented by happiness in producing a work of art. Thus, it can be said that art workers have a fairly good welfare. The negative stigma about the welfare of art workers is quite reasonable even though it is not entirely true."

""Important to the study of entertainment law is the appreciation that the various entertainment industries are often comprised of extremely creative individuals who interact with for-profit business ventures. This can lead to conflict, which has led to litigation, published decisions, changes in law, and so on. An appreciation that entertainment continues to move into American households via computer screens, video games, advanced HDTV broadcasts, and plasma television sets is vital."--Jacket. "
