"Peneliti membandingkan dua karya drama: Les Chaises karya Eugene Ionesco (Prancis) dan terjemahannya dalam bahasa Indonesia Kereta Kencana karya W. S. Rendra.Perbandingan dititikberatkan pada persamaan dan perbedaan kedua karya, dari persamaan dan perbedaan itu disimpulkan bahwa W. S. Rendra ternyata melakukan pengkhianatan. Artinya, ia tidak menerjemahkan dengan setia. Banyak elemen dalam Les Chaises absen dalam Kereta Kencana, sebaliknya banyak elemen dalam Kereta Kencana absen dalam Les Chaises.

AbstractResearcher compares two plays: Les Chaises of Eugene Ionesco (France) and it's translated version in bahasa Indonesia Kereta Kencana of W. S. Rendra. The focus of comparison is to find similiarity and difference between both plays, based on those things researcher then concludes that W. S. Rendra did a treason on this work of translation. Means that he did tranlate not faithfully. There are lot of elements in Les Chaises that are absent in Kereta Kencana, vice versa there are lot of elements in Kereta Kencana absent in Les Chaises. "

"Skripsi ini membahas tanda-tanda yang digunakan pengarang dalam menyampaikan gagasan-gagasan yang ada di dalam naskah drama anak Mencari Taman karya Noorca M. Massardi. Tanda-tanda tersebut dianalisis melalui pendekatan semiotika dengan teori konotasi Roland Barthes. Metode yang digunakan adalah metodologi analisis deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis ternyata tanda-tanda yang digunakan dalam naskah ini secara fungsional mampu membantu proses penyampaian gagasan.

AbstractThis thesis is discussing the symbols that the author used for expressing his ideas in a childrens drama script called "Mencari Taman"by Noorca M. Massardi. These symbols were analyzed through a semiotic approach with the theory of connotation by Roland Barthes. The methodology that was used in this thesis was descriptive analysis. Based on the analysis then it can be conclude that the symbols in this drama script was functionally helpful in expressing the ideas that the author intended."

"Performatifitas gender adalah teori yang dikemukakan oleh Judith Butler yang menyatakan bahwa gender terbentuk dari tindakan yang ditunjukkan oleh seseorang. Skripsi ini akan menganalisis pengaruh peran Mutter Courage sebagai ibu dan sebagai pedagang dalam drama Mutter Courage und ihre Kinder karya Bertolt Brecht terhadap pembentukan gendernya. Sehingga membentuk pencitraan Mutter Courage yang menunjukkan perlawanan terhadap stereotip mengenai perempuan. Skripsi ini juga akan menganalisis paradoks dalam diri Mutter Courage, serta pengaruhnya terhadap tujuan yang ingin dicapai oleh Mutter Courage baik sebagai ibu maupun sebagai pedagang.

This thesis will analyse the influence of Mutter Courage's roles both as a mother and as a merchant in the drama Mutter Courage und ihre Kinder by Bertolt Brecht to the establishment of her gender and form Mutter Courage's image that shows an opposition to stereotypes about women. This thesis will also analyse the paradox found in her behaviour and its influence to the goals Mutter Courage wants to achieve both as a mother and a merchant. "
