"ABSTRAKTKI (Tenaga Kerja Indonesia) memiliki konstribusi yang cukup besar terhadapdinamika pendapatan negara. Nilai remitansi (pengiriman uang) TKI yang terusstabil diantara gejolak perekonomian migas, non migas maupun ekspor imporIndonesia yang semakin hari terus melemah. Atas dasar potensi itulah, makapenting bagi TKI untuk “melek keuangan” dan sebanyak – banyaknyamemperoleh pengetahuan dan informasi terkait layanan jasa keuangan. Haltersebut mendasari dikembangkannya program pelatihan edukasi pengelolaankeuangan bagi TKI dan keluarga yang diselenggarakan oleh BNP2TKI. Edukasikeuangan sebagai sebuah program strategik pemerintah selayaknya melalui prosesperencanaan yang terkonsep baik dan teruji coba sehingga pada saat aplikasi dilapangan segala hambatan dan kendala dapat diprediksi dengan tepat danberkesinambungan. Penulis melakukan studi yang berfokus pada evaluasiperencanaan komunikasi strategik pada program edukasi pengelolaan keuanganbagi TKI dan keluarganya dimana program edukasi pengelolaan keuangantersebut telah dilakukan dalam masa RPJMN 4 tahun terhitung mulai tahun 2010– 2014. Dimana dilakukan pengkajian baik terkait komunikasi antar organisasidalam pencanangan program maupun metode komunikasi yang digunakan dalamkegiatan edukasi pengelolaan keuangan tersebut pada tiap tahunnya.

ABSTRACTTKI (Indonesian Migrant Workers) have a considerable contribution to thedynamics of the state revenue. The value of TKI remittance (money transfer) thatkeeps stable among oil and gas or non oil and gas event Indonesia export importwhich getting weaker day by day. Base on that potential, it is important for TKI toknow about finance and absorb the information related to financial services asmany as possible. It underlies the developed of education financial managementprogram for Indonesian migrant workers and their families organized by theBNP2TKI. Financial education as a strategic government programs should be wellplanned and tested so all the obstacles and constraints can be predicted withprecision and continuous improvement. The author did a study that focuses oneducation financial management program for Indonesian migrant workers andtheir families where the financial management education program has been donein the 4 years RPJMN calculated from the year 2010 – 2014. Where does thestudy of related good communication between organizations in thegroundbreaking program as well as the method of communication used in thefinancial management of educational activities on each year."

"ABSTRAKKota Medan adalah kota multietnik dengan keragaman yang unik, sehingga memungkinkan terjadinya interaksi antar etnik dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Perbedaan budaya memiliki potensi akan terjadinya konflik. Konflik antar etnik, berangkat dari konflik antar pribadi yang kemudian memunculkan latar belakang budaya individu yang berkonflik. Persoalan pemaknaan dan koordinasi makna dalam interaksi antara dua individu dijelaskan oleh teori Coordinated Management of Meaning yang dirumuskan oleh Barnett Pearce dan Vernon Cronen.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan manajemen makna dan koordinasi yang berlangsung secara hirarki dalam interaksi antar etnik dan menjelaskan bagaimana aturan mempengaruhi proses koordinasi dan manajemen makna dalam interaksi antar etnik di Kota Medan. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa hirarki makna dapat menjelaskan pemaknaan dan koordinasi prilaku individu dalam setiap interaksi. Level hirarki makna dalam setiap bentuk tutur kata dalam interaksi antar etnik dengan pembahasan yang sensitif, dapat berbeda-beda. Dalam berinteraksi antar etnik diketahui bahwa aturan dapat menjadi berbeda dalam percakapan antara individu. Artinya terdapat penyesuaian aturan saat terjadi interaksi antar etnik.

ABSTRACTMedan City is a multiethnic city with unique diversity. Cultural differences have the potential for conflictThat is, to solve interethnic problems, it is also necessary to look at the process of interpersonal communication from individuals of different ethnicities. The issue of meaning and coordination of meaning in the interaction between two individuals is explained by the Coordinated Management of Meaning theory formulated by Barnett Pearce and Vernon Cronen. This study aims to explain the management of meaning and coordination that takes place in a hierarchical between ethnic interactions and explain how rules influence the process of coordination and management of meaning in inter-ethnic interactions in Medan City. The results of this study explain that the hierarchy of meanings can explain the meaning and coordination of individual behavior in each interaction. The level of meaning hierarchy in each form of speech in ethnic interactions with sensitive discussion can vary. In interacting between ethnicities it is known that rules can be different in conversations between individuals. This means that there are adjustments to the rules when ethnic interactions occur."

"Skripsi ini menginvestigasi tentang bagaimana komunikasi antar teman di media sosial mempengaruhi niat pembelian tiket Jazz Goes To Campus melalui dua cara, pengaruh langsung melalui penyesuaian diri pada teman-teman (peers) dengan dimoderasi kebutuhan untuk tampil beda dan tidak langsung melalui mediasi product involvement. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa pengaruh langsung komunikasi antar teman tidak mempengaruhi sikap terhadap produk secara signifikan serta kebutuhan untuk tampil beda tidak memiliki peran moderasi yang berarti di antara kedua variabel tersebut.

This study investigates how social media peer communication affecting the purchase intention of Jazz Goes To Campus-ticket in two ways: directly through conformity with peers moderated by need for uniqueness and indirectly by reinforcing product involvement. This research is quantitative descriptive interpretive. The result revealed that direct effect of peer communication did not affect the product attitude significantly neither did need for uniqueness with its moderating role between two variables."

"TKI yang tersebar di luar negeri berpotensi menimbulkan munculnya kasus termasuk kasus ancaman hukuman mati yang dapat berubah menjadi krisis bagi Kementerian Luar Negeri. Oleh karena itu penting dilakukan analisis manajemen komunikasi krisis agar penanganan krisis dapat dilakukan secara optimal.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yang menggunakan paradigma post-positivisme. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana Kementerian Luar Negeri melakukan manajemen komunikasi krisis ketika menghadapi krisis pada level pre-crisis, crisis dan post-crisis serta untuk mengetahui pemilihan crisis response strategy yang digunakan oleh Kementerian Luar Negeri dikaitkan dengan jenis krisis dan atribusi tanggung jawab dalam kerangka Situational Crisis Communication Theory SCCT. Penelitian ini mengambil data dari wawancara berbagai sumber, media pemberitaan, dan dokumen pendukung lainnya.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kementerian Luar Negeri belum secara optimal menerapkan manajemen komunikasi krisis. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan adanya ketidaksamaan konsep dengan hasil penelitian di level pre-crisis. Namun pelaksanaan manjemen komunikasi krisis pada level crisis dan post-crisis telah dilaksanakan secara optimal. Selanjutnya ditemui bahwa dengan jenis krisis victim cluster kategori rumor dan accidental cluster dengan kategori challenge, attribution level of crisis responsibility yang melekat pada Kementerian Luar Negeri adalah sangat sedikit dan rendah namun adanya desakan dan demo menjadikan beban tanggung jawab Kementerian Luar Negeri menjadi besar. Dengan jenis krisis dan attribution level of crisis responsilibity tersebut, Kementerian Luar Negeri menggunakan strategi: a Deny Strategy yaitu scapegoat; b Diminish Strategy yaitu justification; c Reinforcing Strategy yaitu reminder dan ingratiation; d Diversionary strategy yaitu concession; dan e Vocal commiseration yaitu concern.

Indonesian workers spread all over the world potentially face cases including death sentenced case of which it can lead to crisis for Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. Hence, it rsquo s essential to have crisis communication management analized in order to optimalize the crisis management. It is a descriptive qualitative research that uses post positivism paradigm.

The purposes of this research is to know how Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia executes crisis communication management at the level of pre crisis, crisis and post crisis as well as to know the selection of crisis response strategy linked to the crisis types and attribution level of crisis responsibility in the frame of Situational Crisis Communication Theory SCCT.

This research collects data from interviews, news media and other supporting documents. It found that Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia is not optimal in implementing crisis communication management. It is shown by the dissimilarity between the concept and the research finding at the level of pre crisis. Yet, the crisis communication management in the level of crisis and post crisis has been optimally implemented.

Besides, it is found that the crisis type of which Ministry of Foreign Affairs faced is victim cluster rumour and accidental cluster challenge. Related to the type of crisis faced by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of The Republic of Indonesia has very little and low of attribution level of crisis responsibility, however due to demo and pressure from external parties, the level of crisis responsibility becomes strong. Based on the crisis types and attribution level of crisis responsibility attached, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of The Republic of Indonesia uses strategies including a deny strategy scapegoat b Diminish strategy justification c Reinforcing strategy reminder and ingratiation d Diversionary strategy concession and e vocal commiseration concern."
