"Pustakawan diharapkan memiliki kompetensi serta dapat beradaptasi terhadap perubahan, khususnya perubahan perpustakaan yang berbasis teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK). Salah satu proses adaptasi terhadap perubahan di lingkungan Perpustakaan X adalah mengikutsertakan para pustakawan dalam program pelatihan aplikasi TIK. Penelitian ini menganalisis tentang efektifitas pelatihan aplikasi TIK bagi pustakawan di Perpustakaan X. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui "tingkat efektifitas" pelatihan TIK ditinjau dari aspek; reaksi, pembelajaran, dan perubahan perilaku bagi pustakawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode campuran dengan strategi triangulasi konkuren. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dapat diketahui bahwa pelatihan TIK ditinjau dari aspek reaksi memiliki tingkat efektifitas yang tercatat "sangat tinggi", hal ini dapat dilihat dari tingkat kepuasan pustakawan terhadap kebutuhan pelatihan, metode pelatihan, penjelasan materi dan media yang digunakan. Ditinjau dari pembelajaran memiliki tingkat efektifitas yang tercatat "sangat tinggi" juga, hal ini dapat diamati dari penguasaan pengetahuan pustakawan yang bertambah tentang materi TIK, implementasi materi, dan manfaat dalam melaksanakan tugas. Ditinjau dari aspek perubahan perilaku memiliki tingkat efektifitas yang tercatat "sangat tinggi", hal ini dapat diamati dari perubahan prilaku dalam menghadapi aplikasi TIK yang diterapkan, adanya sikap terbuka terhadap perubahan dan adanya minat untuk mengeksplorasi pemahaman dalam bidang TIK.

Librarians are expected to have competencies and to be adapted to changes, especially in library-based information and communication technology (ICT). One of the adaption processes in environment of X Library is to include the librarians in ICT training programs. This study analyzed the effectiveness of ICT training of librarians at the Library of X. The purpose of this study was to determine the "level of effectiveness" in terms of ICT training aspects: reaction, learning, and behavioral changes to librarians. This study uses a mixed method by concurrent triangulation strategy. The findings of the research indicates that the ICT training in terms of aspects of the reaction has effectiveness level of "very high", this can be seen from the level of satisfaction towards the training needs of librarians, training methods, explanation of materials and media used.

Based on the effectiveness level of learning has been recorded as "very high" as well, this can be observed from the increasing mastery of the knowledge of librarians about ICT materials, implementation materials, and benefits in carrying out the task. Judging from the aspect of behavioral changes have a level of effectiveness recorded "very high", this can be observed from behavioral changes in dealing with ICT applications that are applied, an open-arm attitude towards changes and an interest in exploring the concepts in the area of ICT."
