"Perkembangan mental yang sehat pada anak mencerminkan kualitas kepribadian anak sebagai masa depan dan generasi penerus cita-cita suatu bangsa. Guna membentuk dan mengembangkan kepribadian anak, diperlukan stimulasi untuk mencapai perkembangan yang optimal terutama pada usia lima tahun pertama kehidupan atau usia prasekolah. Tujuan karya ilmiah akhir (KIA) ini adalah memperoleh gambaran tentang Efektivitas Terapi Kelompok Terapeutik Pra Sekolah terhadap perkembangan inisiatif anak usia pra sekolah di RW 06 Kelurahan Suka Damai Tanah Sareal Bogor Tahun 2014. Karya ilmiah akhir ini menggunakan pendekatan model konseptual keperawatan Hildegard Peplau dan manajemen CMHN (Community Mental Health Nursing). Hasil KIA menunjukkan peningkatan perkembangan inisiatif anak usia pra sekolah dan kemampuan ibu dalam melakukan stimulasi perkembangan. Terapi kelompok terapeutik pra sekolah direkomendasikan untuk dilakukan pada tatanan pelayanan kesehatan di masyarakat sebagai bentuk pelayanan keperawatan kesehatan jiwa pada anak pra sekolah beserta keluarga dengan melibatkan kader kesehatan di masyarakat guna mengoptimalkan perkembangan inisiatif anak.

The mental health in children show the good qualities of child as the nation future generation.To establish and develop the children, required stimulation to achieve optimal growth, especially in the first five years of age or preschool age. The purpose of this study was to obtain an overview of the effectiveness of group therapy Therapeutic Pre-School initiative on the development of pre-school children in RW 06 Suka Damai Bogor in 2014.
