"This book contains the papers presented at the International Joint Conference on Mechanics, Design Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing (JCM 2018), held on 20-22 June 2018 in Cartagena, Spain. It reports on cutting-edge topics in product design and manufacturing, such as industrial methods for integrated product and process design; innovative design; and computer-aided design. Further topics covered include virtual simulation and reverse engineering; additive manufacturing; product manufacturing; engineering methods in medicine and education; representation techniques; and nautical, aeronautics and aerospace design and modeling. "Penelitian ini secara umum membahas mengenai tingkat internasionalisasi perusahaan dan pengaruhnya terhadap risiko perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan data perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2010?2015. Data diolah menggunakan metode generalized least square dengan model efek tetap. Penelitian menggunakan data panel yang merupakan gabungan dari data cross-section dan time-series.Tingkat internasionalisasi perusahaan ditinjau dari penjualan luar negeri, sementara risiko perusahaan ditinjau dari volatilitas imbal hasil saham. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat internasionalisasi perusahaan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap risiko perusahaan. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa jika perusahaan meningkatkan aktivitas internasionalnya, maka perusahaan tersebut akan menghadapi risiko yang lebih besar pula.

This research generally discusses degree of internationalization and its influence on the company's risk. This study uses data from manufacturing firm listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2010-2015 period. The data were processed using the method GLS with a fixed effects model. The study uses panel data which is a combination of cross-section data and time-series. Degree of internationalization in terms of overseas sales, while the company's risk in terms of the volatility of stock returns. The results showed that the degree of internationalization of the company has significant positive effect on the firm risk. It shows that if the company increases its international activities, the company will face a greater risk as well."

"ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh efektivitas dewan komisaris dankomite audit terhadap tingkat pengungkapan risiko. Efektivitas dewan komisarisdinilai berdasarkan independensi, aktivitas, jumlah anggota, dan kompetensi,sedangkan efektivitas komite audit berdasarkan aktivitas, jumlah anggota, dankompetensi. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel 113 perusahaan manufaktur yangterdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada tahun 2014. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukanbahwa efektivitas komite audit berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap tingkatpengungkapan risiko, sedangkan efektivitas dewan komisaris tidak terbuktiberpengaruh signifikan.

ABSTRACTThis study investigates the effect of board commissioner and audit committeeeffectiveness on the risk disclosure level. The board commissioner effectiveness ismeasured by board independence, activities, size, and expertise and competence,while audit committee effectiveness is measured by audit committee activities, size,and expertise and competence. This study uses 113 manufacturing companies listedon Indonesia Stock Exchange for the year 2014. The result shows that auditcommittee effectiveness has negative and significant effect on the risk disclosurelevel. However, the board commissioner effectiveness does not have significanteffect to the risk disclosure level."
