"This article describes information of kaba research. The information’s were gain
from library research which collects kaba bibliography from libraries. Datas were
mapped in categories by philology, literary, lingustics, and as oral traditions.
The result shows that kaba was written since 1831 and kaba research
was done since 1881. Until now, on literary critics and linguistics
study kaba's were researched with structural approach. As an oral
tradition, kaba develops to recording form as cassettes, CD'S, and VCD's."
