"Pendidikan berfungsi sebagai tempat untuk mentransmisikan nilai, norma, dan ilmu pengetahuan dari sebuah masyarakat kepada generasi muda. Menurut Pierre Bordieu (2014), dalam pendidikan, Habitus sering ditemui dalam sebuah kelompok sosial tersendiri, juga dari sebuah institusi. Habitus juga membutuhkan sebuah alat dalam meregenerasi dirinya untuk melanggengkan nilai dan norma dari sebuah kelompok tertentu. Dalam proses pendidikannya, Jepang mempunyai pedoman yang disebut dengan 生徒指導提要 ((Seito Shidou Teiyou) (Pedoman Bimbingan Siswa)). Masalah penelitian yang diangkat dalam Tugas Akhir ini adalah Habitus dalam Seito Shidou Teiyou. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menjelaskan penggunaan Seito Shidou Teiyou sebagai alat penyampai habitus pendidikan Jepang melalui teori habitus oleh Pierre Bordieu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis konten dengan pembahasan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis terhadap aspek pedoman dari Seito Shidou Teiyou disimpulkan bahwa pedoman yang diberikan adalah habitus yang ditanamkan oleh Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Olahraga, Sains dan Teknologi melalui Buku Pedoman Bimbingan Siswa tersebut.

Education works as a place to transmit values, norms, and knowledge from society to the younger generation. Habitus also needs a tool to generate it values ​​and norms for the target group of people in society. In the process of education, Japan has a guideline called 生 徒 指導 提要 (Seito Shidou Teiyou) (Guide for Student Guidance). The research problem raised in this Final Project is Habitus in Seito Shidou Teiyou. The purpose of this study is to explain the use of Seito Shidou Teiyou as a means of conveying Japanese educational habitus through the theory of habitus by Pierre Bordieu. The method used in this research is content analysis with a discussion using descriptive methods. Based on the analysis results from guidance given by Seito Shidou Teiyou, Habitus was implanted on the by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology through the Student Guidebook."
