"Bahasa memiliki kaitan yang erat dengan budaya. Oleh karena itu, pembelajaran suatu bahasa khususnya bahasa asing tidak dapat dilepaskan dari pembelajaran budaya. Berangkat dari isu tersebut Uni Eropa membuat suatu standar, yaitu Common European Framework of Reference CEFR yang memiliki kebijakan untuk memasukkan unsur-unsur budaya ke dalam materi ajar bahasa negara-negara anggotanya. Tujuannya tidak hanya untuk mempermudah pembelajaran bahasa asing namun juga mengenalkan budaya target kepada para penutur asing. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut, maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari tahu muatan budaya Belanda apa saja yang terdapat dalam buku ajar bahasa Belanda Contact! 1 Nederlands voor anderstaligen 2014 yang kini digunakan oleh Program Studi Belanda FIB UI dan bagaimana muatan-muatan budaya tersebut disajikan dalam latihan kemahirannya. Untuk meneliti permasalahan yang ada, digunakan metode campuran. Metode kuantitatif digunakan untuk mengetahui pada jenis muatan-muatan budaya apa saja yang muncul. Untuk memaparkannya, digunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Menggunakan teori lapisan kebudayaan oleh Trompenaars Hampden-Turner, akan terlihat tiga lapisan kebudayaan ndash; terutama lapisan Tindakan dan Artefak yang ditonjolkan dalam pemberian muatan kebudayaan pada buku ajar Contact! 1.

Language has a close relation to culture. Therefore, the learning of languages ndash in particular foreign language ndash can not be separated from cultural learning. From the issue above, the European Union make a standard called Common European Framework of Reference CEFR which has the policy of incorporating cultural elements into the language teaching materials of its member states. The goal is not only to facilitate the learning of foreign languages but also to introduce the target culture to foreign speakers. Related to this matter, this research aims to find out what are the content of Dutch culture related in the language textbook Contact 1 Nederlands voor anderstaligen 2014 which is now used by the Dutch Studies FIB UI and how those cultural contents are presented in their exercises. To examine the existing problems, a mixed method is used. Quantitative method is used to find out what types of cultural loads arise. To expose it, qualitative descriptive method is used. Using the theory of cultural layers by Trompenaars Hampden Turner, there will be three layers of culture ndash especially Artifacts and Products ndash that are featured as a cultural content on Contact 1."
