"Limbah tandan kosong kelapa sawit (TKKS) melimpah di dunia, dan penelitian ini menganalisis karakteristik komposit kayu plastik (WPC) dari campuran serat polietilena daur ulang (rPE) dan TKKS dengan perlakuan alkalisasi dan plasma atmosfer untuk aplikasi material berkelanjutan. Fokus penelitian adalah pengaruh perlakuan terhadap sifat kimia, morfologi permukaan, dan mekanik WPC. Metode yang digunakan mencakup pengujian FTIR, XRD, TGA, SEM, dan analisis uji mekanis. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa TKKS yang diolah dengan alkalisasi memberikan hasil terbaik dalam memperbaiki sifat mekanik dengan menghilangkan lignin dan hemiselulosa, meningkatkan kristalinitas dan stabilitas termal, serta menghasilkan morfologi serat yang lebih halus. Perlakuan plasma atmosfer juga meningkatkan sifat serat TKKS, tetapi kurang optimal dibandingkan alkalisasi. Kedua perlakuan meningkatkan kompatibilitas antara serat TKKS dan rPE, mencegah aglomerasi, dan meningkatkan sifat mekanik serta termal komposit. Formulasi terbaik dengan komposisi TKKS 15% (A15) menunjukkan kekuatan tarik maksimum sekitar 40 N/mm² dan kekuatan lentur maksimum sekitar 25 N/mm². Uji kekerasan Shore D menunjukkan nilai tertinggi 65,2 Shore D dengan waktu pembacaan 1 detik. Analisis morfologi melalui SEM mengungkapkan struktur permukaan yang berpori, mencerminkan proses delignifikasi yang efektif. Temuan ini diharapkan berkontribusi pada pengembangan material komposit yang lebih ramah lingkungan.

Waste from empty oil palm bunches (TKKS) is abundant worldwide, and this study analyzes the characteristics of wood plastic composites (WPC) made from a mixture of recycled polyethylene (rPE) fibers and TKKS, with alkali and atmospheric plasma treatments for sustainable material applications. The focus of the research is to examine the effect of these treatments on the chemical properties, surface morphology, and mechanical properties of WPC. The methods used include FTIR, XRD, TGA, SEM testing, and mechanical testing analysis. The results show that TKKS treated with alkali yields the best results in improving mechanical properties by removing lignin and hemicellulose, increasing crystallinity and thermal stability, and producing a smoother fiber morphology. Atmospheric plasma treatment also enhances the properties of TKKS fibers, but is less optimal compared to alkali treatment. Both treatments improve the compatibility between TKKS fibers and rPE, prevent fiber agglomeration, and enhance the mechanical and thermal properties of the composites. The best formulation with a composition of 15% TKKS (A15) shows a maximum tensile strength of approximately 40 N/mm² and a maximum flexural strength of about 25 N/mm². The Shore D hardness test shows the highest value of 65.2 Shore D at a reading time of 1 second. Morphological analysis through SEM reveals a porous surface structure, reflecting an effective delignification process. These findings are expected to contribute to the development of more environmentally friendly composite materials. "

Tingkat penetrasi internet di Indonesia yang semakin tinggi mendorong masyarakat menjadi lebih familiar dengan berbagai produk dan layanan digital berbasis internet, salah satunya yang sedang digandrungi saat ini adalah layanan streaming musik dan video/film. Penyedia layanan perlu mengetahui berbagai faktor yang dianggap berpengaruh terhadap tingkat penggunaan atau hours of use dan sikap untuk merekomendasikan atau recommend dari aplikasi streaming mulai dari ease of use, convenience value, monetary value, dan emotional value. Selain itu, social value dan emotional value yang dimediasi oleh identity salience juga dianggap berpengaruh. Penelitian ini juga mengisi research gap dengan menguji pengaruh mediasi habit. Metode purposive sampling digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan sebanyak 392 responden dan dianalisis menggunakan pemodelan Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap tingkat penggunaan adalah emotional value dan ease of use yang keduanya dimediasi habit. Sedangkan, faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap sikap untuk merekomendasikan adalah emotional value, ease of use yang dimediasi habit, serta emotional value dan social value yang keduanya dimediasi oleh identity salience.

ABSTRACT

The increasing level of internet penetration in Indonesia encourages people to become more familiar with various internet-based digital products and services. Nowadays, commonly used streaming products are music and video/movie streaming services. Service providers should understand the factors which are considered to affect the usage and recommendation of streaming applications such as ease of use, convenience value, monetary value, and emotional value. Besides, social value and emotional value which both are mediated by identity salience are considered as well. This study also fills the research gap by examining habit mediation. Purposive sampling method was used in this study with 392 respondents and the data was analyzed using Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings suggest factors that affect usage are emotional value and ease of use which both are mediated by habit. Meanwhile, factors that affect recommendation are emotional value, ease of use which mediated by habit, and also emotional value and social value which both are mediated by identity salience.
