"Gerai Kuliner banyak terdapat di Kota Depok, terutama di Jalan Margonda dan sekitarnya. Lokasi gerai kuliner yang terdapat di Jalan Margonda dan sekitarnya memiliki perbedaan dan persamaan sesuai dengan ciri khasnya masing-masing. Ciri khas lokasi yang dimaksud dapat terlihat dari penggunaan tanah, kelas jalan, dan fasilitas gerai kuliner. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah ingin mengetahui karakteristik lokasi gerai kuliner bagi konsumen mahasiswa di Jalan Margonda dan sekitarnya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis spasial dengan melihat hubungan antara karakteristik lokasi gerai kuliner dan karakteristik konsumennya. Dilakukan klasifikasi gerai kuliner menjadi tiga tipe, yaitu Tipe A, Tipe B, dan Tipe C. Hasilnya terlihat perbedaan karakteristik lokasi gerai kuliner di Jalan Margonda dan sekitarnya, yakni gerai kuliner yang memiliki fasilitas lengkap berada di Jalan Margonda yang merupakan jalan utama. Sedangkan gerai kuliner yang fasilitasnya kurang lengkap berada di jalan- jalan sekitar Margonda. Sementara, perbedaan karakteristik konsumen, yang dilihat dari pendapatan, asal kedatangan, frekuensi pembelian, moda transportasi, biaya pembelian, pandangan konsumen, dan suku, memiliki hubungan dengan karakteristik lokasi gerai kuliner.

Culinary outlets are common in Depok, especially at Jalan Margonda and surroundings roads. Location of culinary outlets at Jalan Margonda and surrounding areas have differences and similarities according to their typical characteristics. Characteristic of the location is able to be seen from land use, road class and culinary outlets facilities. The purpose of this research is to determine the culinary outlet’s location characteristic for university student at Jalan Margonda and surroundings roads. The method used in this research is a spatial analysis of the relationship between the characteristics of the location and characteristics of consumer culinary stores. Culinary outlets classified into three types: Type A, Type B, and Type C. The result shows the differences of the culinary outlet’s location characteristics at Jalan Margonda and surrounding streets, the culinary outlets that has complete facilities located in Jalan Margonda which is the main street. While culinary outlets with incomplete facilities located at the streets around Margonda. Meanwhile, differences in consumer characteristics, as seen from income, origin arrivals, frequency of purchase, transportation, cost of purchase, the consumer outlook, and tribe, have a relationship with the culinary outlet’s location characteristic."

"Perkembangan bisnis kuliner sekarang begitu pesat, demi kelancaran proses produksi para pelaku usaha kuliner memiliki pemasok tetap agar tidak mengganggu proses produksi dan untuk mempertahankan kelezatan rasa masakan, kesegaran bahan baku menjadi salah satu faktornya. Kesegaran bahan baku dipengaruhi oleh jaringan perjalanan makanan. Skripsi ini membahas kaitan antara lokasi usaha kuliner dengan karakteristik wilayah di Kota Depok. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei ke lapangan, wawancara langsung dengan analisis deskriptif dan pendekatan keruangan. Berdasarkan hasil survei dan pengolahan data didapat bahwa demi mendapatkan bahan baku yang segar maka diperoleh dari sumber primer dan jarak yang jauh dari sumber bahan baku yang berasal dari primer tidak mempengaruhi pengusaha untuk memasok bahan bakunya dari sumber primer demi kesegaran bahan bakunya.

Nowadays, culinary sector become one of the most interesting and rapidly growing businees. The quality of taste, freshness of the groceriesand availability of its supply are the key factors to keep this busineeson the track. Some culinary business actors try to cover those factors by controlling and selecting their supplier of groceries so that the quality of the product could be maintained. This research try to find any connections between the location of culinary business with the characteristic of region in Depok. The method that were used are by interviewing correspondents and locating the location of culinary business store then analyzed with descriptive analysis and spatial approach. The result shows that reaching resources of the groceries fromits original sources rather than using suppliers would be the best way to obtain quality products despites of its location."
