"Penelitian pemberian pakan alami yang berbeda terhadap sintasan dan pertumbuhan benih ikan palmas (Polypterus senegalus senegalus, Cuvier, 1829) dilakukan di LORIBIHAT. Metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap dilakukan dengan 3 perlakuan dan 5 kali ulangan. Perlakuan pemberian pakan berupa Moina, larva Culex, dan Tubifex secara ad-libitum yang dilakukan hingga benih ikan mencapai panjang total ± 3 inci. Tiap ulangan terdiri dari 8 ekor benih ikan dengan panjang total ± 0,87 inci. Hasil penelitian dari parameter sintasan dan pertumbuhan yang dihitung berupa laju sintasan, pertambahan berat, dan pertambahan panjang berturut-turut adalah Tubifex (97,50 %; 3,00 g; 2,11 inci), larva Culex (92,50%; 1,69 g; 1,70 inci), dan Moina (72,50%; 0,61 g; 1,06 inci).

Study of different of natural feeds on survival and growth of palmas fish (Polypterus senegalus senegalus, Cuvier, 1829) juvenile was conducted at LORIBIHAT. Completely randomized design was used with 3 treatments and 5 replicates. Feeding treatment consist of Moina, Culex larvae, and Tubifex that was given by ad-libitum method until fish juvenile reach total length ± 3 inches. Each replicate consist of 8 fish juvenile with ± 0.87 inches. Result of survival and growth parameter that was counted are survival rate, increasing of the length and weight repeatedly are Tubifex (97.50 %; 3.00 g; 2.11 inches), Culex larvae (92.50 %; 1.69 g; 1.70 inches), and Moina (72.50 %; 0.61 g; 1.06 inches)."

"Percobaan dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh padat penebaran terhadap pertumbuhan dan performa benih ikan gurami (Osphronemus goramy, Lacepede 1801) dalam sistem resirkulasi air. Benih gurami (berat rata-rata 13,73 ± 0,93 g) ditebar dengan padat penebaran 4, 7, 10, 13, dan 16 ekor/20 l air. Pakan yang diberikan berupa pelet komersial dengan kandungan protein 38%. Pakan diberikan dua kali/hari sebanyak 3% berat tubuh ikan. Hasil percobaan selama 30 hari menunjukkan bahwa padat penebaran 4, 7, 10, 13, dan 16 ekor/20 l air masing-masing menghasilkan weight gain/WG (11,65; 10,24; 13,32; 10,03, dan 8,27 g), specific growth rate/SGR (2,07%; 1,93%; 1,83%; 1,87%; dan 1,57%), survival rate/sintasan (58,3%; 76,2%; 83,3%; 89,7%; dan 85,4%), dan feed conversion ratio/FCR (1,03; 1,31; 1,28; 1,0; dan 1,27). Hasil uji statistika Kruskal Wallis (p > 0,05) menunjukkan bahwa padat penebaran tidak berpengaruh terhadap WG, SGR, sintasan, dan FCR."

"Suhu yang digunakan, pada penelitian ini berbeda-beda (25°C, 27°C, 29°C, dan 31°C). Panjang dan bobot awal ikan uji adalah 2±0,3 cm dan 1±0,11 g. Benih ikan ditebar sebanyak 70 ekor per kontainer dan diamati selama 35. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sintasan tertinggi (79,05±2,18%) pada perlakuan 27°C, namun tidak berbeda nyata dengan sintasan pada 31°C (71,90±1,74 %). Nilai tertinggi dari pertumbuhan bobot mutlak (2,33±0,09 g), pertumbuhan panjang mutlak (2,36±0,07 cm), dan laju pertumbuhan (5,65±0,09%bobot/hari) berada pada 31°C. Dengan demikian, suhu terbaik pada penelitian ini adalah 31°C.

The study was used different temperature (25°C, 27°C, 29°C, and 31°C). Initial length and weight of the fries are 2 ± 0,3 cm and 1 ± 0,11 g. The fry stocked as many as 70 per container and observed for 35 days. The results showed the highest survival rate (79,05 ± 2,18%) at 27°C but there was no significant difference with 31°C (71,90±1,74 %). The highest value of weight growth (2,33 ± 0,09 g), length growth (2,36 ± 0,07 cm), and the growth rate (5,65 ± 0,09 %weight/day) were at 310C. Thus, the best temperature in this study is 31°C."

"Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh berbagai konsentrasi salinitas media pemeliharaan terhadap sintasan dan pertumbuhan benih ikan papuyu dan menentukan salinitas optimum pada media pemeliharaan benih ikan papuyu terhadap sintasan dan pertumbuhan. Benih berukuran 2 ± 0,3 cm dan 1 ± 0,11 gram dipelihara selama 40 hari. Rancangan acak lengkap digunakan dengan salinitas 0 ppt, 3 ppt, 6 ppt dan 9 ppt serta 3 pengulangan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan salinitas 0 ppt memberikan nilai terbaik pada sintasan 67,78%, laju pertumbuhan spesifik 5,61%, pertumbuhan bobot mutlak 2,73 gram dan panjang mutlak 2,63 cm. Salinitas optimum berdasarkan hasil dugaan persamaan regresi kuadratik terhadap sintasan, LPS, pertumbuhan bobot mutlak dan panjang mutlak masing-masing dicapai pada salinitas 1,8 ppt, 2,5 ppt, 2,8 ppt, dan 3,3 ppt.

The research aimed to determine the effect of various concentrations of salinity media of fry climbing perch on the survival and growth and to determine the optimum salinity of fry climbing perch on survival and growth. Fry size 2 ± 0,3 cm and 1 ± 0,11 gram maintained for 40 days. Completely randomized design is used with salinity 0 ppt, ppt 3, 6 and 9 ppt and 3 repetitions.
The results showed salinity 0 ppt deliver the best value on the survival rate of 67,78%, the specific growth rate of 5,61%, the growth of the absolute weight of 2,73 grams and the absolute length of 2,63 cm. The optimum salinity is based on estimates for quadratic regression equation to survival, LPS, growth in absolute weight and the absolute length of each achieved at a salinity of 1,8 ppt, 2,5 ppt, 2,8 ppt and 3,3 ppt.

"The purpose of the present study is to know efficiency of mass seed production golden travelly fish fry (Gnathonodon speciousus forskall). The larval rearing were conducted using concrete tanks which have volumes of 6 m , density of larvae 10 pc/l. The larvae were reared for 30-35 days with plankton, rotifer, artimia nauplii, mysid shrip, and artificial feed as feed. Water exchange started with 20% of total volume of sea water. , and then increased up to 50-80%. Sampling of larvae were conducted every 5 days, to measure of survival rate (SR) total length (TL) and body weight (BW) tanks were siphoned every 2 days. At D30, larvae were harvested and graded. Four different of naupli density were used as treatments, i,e.: (a)0,4 ind/ml,(b) 0.3 ind/ml;(c)0.2 ind/ml,and(d) 0.1 ind/ml use on three replicates. The result of the experiment showed that the best average survival rate (SR) growth were reached at 0.2-0.4 ind/ml arround 16.25 - 17,02 %, and total lengh 16,52 -17.31 mm, weight o.095 - 0.118 g so that eficiency of seed productions were on 0.2 ind/ml,0.3 ind/ml and 0.4 ind/ml respictively. SR and growth were significantly difference among treatments (P<0.0.0%)."
