"Sistem transportasi di Indonesia yang masih belum memuaskan dan aman menjadi topic yang tidak pernah selesai dibahas, penanggulangannya pun masih belum ada titik terang. Untuk itu dibutuhkan sistem transportasi seperti monorel yang mengadaptasi sistem dari luar negeri. Sistem yang mampu dikendalikan dan dimonitoring secara otomatis melalui komputer, tanpa masinis, aman, nyaman dan efisien. Seperti misal sistem monorel di Jepang yang menggunakan tenaga listrik, rel menggunakan beton tunggal dan dijalankan secara komputerisasi atau otomatis. Atau misal monorel di Jerman yang mempunyai jalur menggantung di atas, tentunya dapat mengantisipasi tipe penumpang Indonesia yang terbiasa naik ke atap kereta.
Untuk membuat sistem transportasi yang dapat dikendalikan dan dimonitoring secara otomatis diperlukan rancangan sistem persinyalan yang tepat dan telah disesuaikan dengan Peraturan Mentri Perhubungan mengenai perkeretaapian/monorel. Pada rancang bangun sistem persinyalan dan monitoring monorel ini digunakan sistem simulator yang dibuat dari software Microsoft Visual C# yang mampu menyediakan tampilan yang lengkap untuk membuat simulator yang dapat mengendalikan monorel, monitoring, hingga komunikasi antar unit monorel atau pusat kendali dengan unit-unit monorel. Dengan menggunakan Microsoft Visual C# ini telah berhasil dibuat simulator sistem persinyalan dan monitoring monorel yang sudah siap untuk diimplementasikan pada infrastruktur monorel yang sebenarnya.

Unsatisfied and unsecured transportation system in Indonesia is still an unfinished topic to discuss. There for required a monorail transportation system as an adapted system from overseas. The system which is capable of automatically controlled and monitored by computer, without driver, safe, comfort and efficient. For example, monorail system in Japan that used electricity, using single concrete as the rail, and computerized or automated. Or another example, monorail in Germany that has hung over track, which can anticipate Indonesian passenger’s type who like to used up to the roof of the train.
To create a transportation system that can be controlled and monitored automatically, requires an appropriate design of signaling system and has been adapted to the Department of Transportation’s regulation about train/monorail. In this design and build control and monitoring of monorail system used monorail system simulator which made of Microsoft Visual C# software that is able to provide a complete interface that can control the monorail, monitoring, and communication between monorail units or between control center with monorail units. By using Microsoft Visual C#, it has been successfully created a simulator signaling and monitoring system that is ready to be implemented in the actual monorail infrastructure.

"Tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy (TDLAS) has been well-known as an established detection technique for trace gas molecules and analytical instruments based on this technique
are already commercially available. Practical applications to combustion control and emission monitoring for incinerators and industrial furnaces often involve considerations about the technique?s capability to cope with such harsh measuring environmental conditions as high
temperature, high pressure and high humidity. In
this study, we theoretically describe the laser modulation spectroscopy technique and discuss practical applicability of the technique through
a comparison between laboratory experimental results and theoretical calculations by the use of a molecular spectroscopic database, stressing on hydrogen chloride (HCl) measurement for
exhaust gas of incinerators. Under experimental condition of elevated temperature, observed absorption line strength deduced by the second harmonic absorption spectrum of HCl in the first overtone region shows good agreement with theoretical prediction. This result indicates that variation of absorption signal due to temperature variation of flue gas can be compensated if gas temperature is simultaneously obtained."

"In this research, a layered-recurrent artificial neural network (ANN) using the back-propagation method was developed for simulation of a fixed-bed industrial catalytic reforming unit called Platformer. Ninety-seven data points were gathered from the industrial catalytic naphtha reforming plant during the complete life cycle of the catalytic bed (about 919 days). Ultimately, 80% of them were selected as past horizontal data sets, and the others were selected as future horizontal ones. After training, testing, and validating the model with past horizontal data, the developed network was applied to predict the volume flow rate and research octane number (RON) of the future horizontal data versus days on stream. Results show that the developed ANN was capable of predicting the volume flow rate and RON of the gasoline for the future horizontal data sets with AAD% (average absolute deviation) of 0.238% and 0.813%, respectively. Moreover, the AAD% of the predicted octane barrel levels against the actual values was 1.447%, which shows the excellent capability of the model to simulate the behavior of the target catalytic reforming plant."

"Jaringan distribusi gas untuk rumah tangga merupakan program pemerintah Indonesia dalam mengurangi penggunaan energi minyak bumi. Program ini biasa disebut dengan Gas Kota yang berarti mengalirkan gas dari sumbernya melalui jaringan perpipaan hingga sampai ke konsumen yaitu rumah tangga. Salah satu daerah yang sudah mendapatkan program Gas Kota ini adalah Cikarang Kabupaten Bekasi. Pembangunan tahap satu jaringan ini rampung pada akhir tahun 2015 dan mulai beroperasi pada awal tahun 2016 sedangkan pembangunan tahap dua ini masih dalam perencanaan. Oleh karena itu dilakukan studi pengembangan jaringan distribusi ini.
Dalam studi ini, pertama dilakukan pemetaan rute jaringan dari katup pengembangan hingga ke pelanggan. Kedua, menetapkan tekanan dan debit awal yang dibutuhkan. Terakhir, melakukan perhitungan hidraulik dengan simulasi menggunakan perangkat lunak sistem perpipaan yaitu Pipesim dan Pipe Flow Expert.
Hasil dari studi ini diharapkan mampu menambah kurang lebih 1500 pelanggan baru dengan tekanan dan debit sesuai dengan standar yang ditetapkan. Dalam studi ini dilakukan analisis pada penggunaan beberapa diameter pipa untuk membandingkan tekanan akhir yang dihasilkan. Selain itu, dilakukan juga analisis pada kondisi seperti, sebagian pelanggan tidak menggunakan gas atau menutup katup gas sambungan rumahnya. Hal ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan tekanan yang ada pada jaringan tersebut.

Gas distribution network for households is a program of the Indonesian government in reducing the use of petroleum energy. This program is commonly called City Gas which means the gas flow from the source through pipeline network to the consumers that is households. One of the areas that already getting this Gas City program is Cikarang Bekasi. Construction of phase one of the network was completed by the end of 2015 and began operating in early 2016 while the construction of phase two is still planning. Therefore, it conducted a study of this pipeline distribution.
In this study, first mapping the route network from the development valve through to the costumers. Second, set initial pressure and gas flow is needed. Lastly, did a hydraulic calculations by simulation using piping system software ie Pipesim and Pipe Flow Expert.
The results of this study are expected to add approximately 1500 new costumers with pressure and gas flow in accordance with established standards. In this study conducted an analysis on the use of several pipe diameter to compare the final pressure. In addition, analysis is also performed on the condition of some costumers don rsquo t use gas or close the gas valve. It is intended to know the difference in pressure on the network.

"Sumber energi terbarukan yang sangat menjanjikan adalah solar cell dan kincir angin karena portabilitas, fleksibilitas yang tinggi dan nilai investasi relatif rendah. Sejauh ini teknologi solar cell memiliki keunggulan karena membutuhkan perawatan sangat minim dan memiliki umur sekitar 20 tahun[27]. Effisiensi diwujudkan dengan kemampuan solar cell mengubah energi matahari menjadi energi listrik. Pada saat ini solar cell mudah didapat dengan kisaran harga US $3/Watt per satuan luas.
Pada kincir angin sumber energi mekanik dari putaran blade akan di konversi ke sumber energi listrik. Meskipun sederhana dalam konsep, tetapi desain turbin dalam perhitungan blade sangat komplek untuk menghasilkan energi yang optimal. Namun kelemahan dari kedua sumber energi terbarukan tersebut adalah tidak menentu ketersediaannya, sedangkan konsumen membutuhkan penyediaan energi yang stabil dengan sustainability 100%. Untuk itu agar sistem energi terbarukan lebih bermanfaat, sistem harus dilengkapi dengan kendali dan management energi listrik yang akan menstabilkan output energi listrik yang dihasilkan.
Diperlukan suatu bank baterai dalam kelangsungan sustainable suplai energi listrik yang dihasilkan. Dalam riset ini, telah merancang bangun suatu kendali energi dengan mengintegrasikan pemodelan matematik sistem baterai. Sistem kendali didukung oleh bank baterai, mikrokontroller dan rangkaian elektronik.
Selanjutnya unjuk kerja sistem dapat ditingkatkan dengan melakukan karakteristik energi yang tersimpan dalam baterai, sehingga energi baterai selalu dapat di monitor. Hal ini memungkinkan sistem selalu dapat mengendalikan energi listrik yang tersedia dalam sistem tersebut.

Renewable energy sources is a very promising that is solar cell and windmill because of it portability, flexibility and value of investment is relative low. Now solar cell technology have an advantage because it require for little maintenance and have lifetime of about 20 years [27]. Efficiency solar cell is realized with it ability to convert solar energy into electrical energy. At currently this solar cell is easy to get with range of price arround U.S. $ 3/Watt per unit area.
At the windmill source of mechanical energy from the blade rotation will be converted into electrical energy source. Although simple in concept, but the design of turbine blade is so complex calculation to generate the optimal energy. But the weakness of both renewable energy sources is uncertain availability, while the consumer requires a stable supply of energy with 100% sustainability. In order to a renewable energy system more useful, the system must be equipped with control and management of electrical energy that will stabilize the output of electrical energy that produced.
It needs a battery bank to keep the sustainable of electrical energy that produced. In this research, has been designing up a control energy by integrating the mathematical modeling of battery systems. Control system supported by battery bank, microcontrollers and electronic circuits.
Furthermore, system performance can be enhanced by the characteristics of the energy stored in batteries, hence the energy of battery always be monitored. It enable the system is always able to control the electrical energy that available in that system.

"Pengembangan mobil listrik pada umumnya dilakukan dengan cara mengganti tenaga penggerak pada mobil motor bakar dengan motor listrik dan memodifikasi drive train sesuai dengan spesifikasi motor listrik yang digunakan. Namun tampilan antarmuka yang digunakan masih menggunakan tampilan pada dashboard bawaan sistem mobil motor bakar. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan pengembangan dan pengujian prototipe sistem kontrol-monitoring pada sistem mobil listrik. Sistem ini terdiri dari perangkat lunak LabVIEW sebagai antarmuka pengguna dan perangkat keras Arduino sebagai modul kontrol. Pengguna dapat mengatur on off motor listrik, arah putaran, dan pompa pendingin via panel LabVIEW. Selain itu juga, pengguna dapat memilih mode pendinginan manual atau otomatis. Sistem monitoring-nya meliputi tampilan RPM, suhu motor listrik, dan keadaan baterai. Dengan adanya sistem kontrol-monitoring ini, pengguna dapat leluasa menjalankan serangkaian instruksi pada mobil listrik berdasarkan informasi hasil monitoring yang ditampilkan pada LabVIEW secara interaktif. Penelitian ini telah berhasil menjalankan fungsi kontrol dan monitoring atas sistem mobil listrik secara keseluruhan.

The development of electric cars in general is done by replacing the engine on the combustion engine car with electric motor and then drive train is modified in accordance with the specifications of the electric motor used. But the interface used is still using the default display on the dashboard of combustion engine car. The research conducted development and testing of prototype systems and control - monitoring system of electric cars. This system consists of LabVIEW software as the user interface and the Arduino hardware control module. Users can set on off an electric motor, the direction of rotation, and the coolant pump panel via LabVIEW. In addition, users can choose manual or automatic cooling mode. The monitoring system includes the display RPM, temperature electric motor, and battery state. Hopefully, by the control- monitoring system, the user can freely execute a series of instructions on the electric car is based on the results of the monitoring information displayed interactively on LabVIEW. This study has successfully run a control and monitoring functions over the electric car system as a whole.
