"ABSTRACT
High Voltage measurement based on the electro-optic effect of LiTaOa crystal plate has been developed. This crystal was placed between two parallel plates which more like capacitor arrangement.
On the first step, this system was capable only to measure the do voltage from 0 to 1 kV, and the ac voltage from 0 to 0.3 kV. But, by enlarging the spaces in between one side at crystal to one of the plate surface, d, the range of measurement was increased up to 4.8 kV, with d =7 mm."

"Pada tesis ini dibahas mengenai teknologi yang akan digunakan pada sistem radar yaitu berupa self wave rejection. Dengan menggunakan sistem ini, antena dapat berperan sebagai antena pengirim dan penerima. Hal ini dapat menghasilkan suatu keuntungan dari sisi efisiensi fabrikas danteknik instalasi sehingga dapat menekan biaya produksi suatu sistem antena. Untuk merancang sebuah sistem radar yang hanya menggunakan satu antena diperlukan self wave rejection yang memiliki sifat high isolation yang dapat menekan interferensi gelombang elektromagnetik yang dihasilkan antena baik dari perangkat transmitter maupun dari receiver Besar isolasi yang tinggi yang dimiliki komponen seperti direcetional coupler dan circulator pada frekuensi 9,4 GHz sulit untuk ditemukan dipasaran. Besar isolasi yang dibutuhkan untuk menahan interfrensi perangkat transmitter dan receiver adalah minimal sebesar 60 dB.
Perancangan perangkat self wave rejection terdiri dari directional coupler dan circulator. Simulasi yang dilakukan pada tesis ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan software berupa Advanced Design System. Pada perancangan pertama sistem self wave rejection, yang digunakan coupler tipe directional dan akan dimodifikasi pada simulasi kedua dengan menggabungkan suatu komponen pasif berupa circulator. Perancangan yang difabrikasi adalah hasil dari perancangan pertama, yaitu dengan menggunakan directional coupler.
Hasil dari perancangan pertama diperoleh isolasi S41 = -60,1 dB dengan S11= -19 dB, S21 = -0.01 dengan bandwidth > 100 MHz. Nilai S41 ketika telah ditambah komponen circulator adalah sebesar ?65,1 dB, bandwidth>100 MHz dengan S11= -24,6 dB dan transmission loss sebesar -0,079 dB. Setelah dilakukan pengukuran, S11= -18 dB dengan S41= -55 dB dengan S21 = - 13 dB.Hasil pengukuran nilai S41= -54,1 dB dan S11= 18 dB, dan S21= -13 dB, and bandwidth > 100 MHz.

This thesis discusses self wave rejection device (SWRD) for Radar system technology. In this system, one antenna can be used to transmit and receive signal. It delivers many benefits such as efficiency in fabrication and installation technique so it can suppress production costs in Radar system. To design a Radar system that only uses one antenna, SWRD is required. SWRD must have high isolation characteristic, because it can be used to suppress electromagnetic wave interference between transmitter and receiver. The high isolation of directional coupler and circulator in 9,4 GHz is hard to find. The high isolation value of minimum 60 dB is required to restrain the interference of electromagnetic wave in radar system among the transmitter, receiver, and antenna.
The design of SWRD consists of directional coupler and circulator. Advanced Design System is used for simulation. In the first simulation, directional coupler is designed to create self wave rejection device. In the second simulation of self wave rejection device, directional coupler will be combined with a circulator. The design which only used directional coupler was fabricated.
The simulation results of the first simulation are S41= - 60,2 dB, S11= -19 dB, S21 = -0.01 dB and bandwidth > 100 MHz. After circulator was added in the second simulation, isolation was improved. The result values are S41= -65,1 dB, bandwitdh > 100 MHz and S11= -24,6 dB with transmission loss = -0,079 dB. The fabrication result obtained S41= -54,16 dB, S11= - 18 dB, S21= -13 dB, and bandwidth >100 MHz.

"Sistem proteksi sangatlah penting dalam sistem tenaga listrik, terutama untuk kehandalan kerja dan perlindungan pada sistem dalam mesin-mesin listrik. Rele merupakan salah salah satu alat proteksi yang banyak digunakan pada sistem tenaga listrik. Jenis rele bermacam-macam tergantung karakteristik yang dibutuhkan, salah satunya adalah rele jarak dan rele diferesial penghantar. Pada PT. PLN, penggunaan sistem proteksi mutlak diperlukan untuk mendukung kinerja sistem tenaga listrik karena sebagai perusahaan listrik negara, PLN merupakan gardu terdepan dalam pendistribusian listrik di seluruh Indonesia sehingga tentunya diharapkan keberlangsungan sistem listrik tidak terganggu.
Pada skripsi ini, penulis akan mengangkat topik tentang konfigurasi proteksi dimana pada sistem transmisi SUTT (Saluran Udara Tegangan Tinggi) di daerah Alam Sutera akan dibangun gardu induk baru sehingga dengan adanya penambahan sistem, konfigurasi sistem proteksi yang lama perlu diperbaharui untuk menyesuaikan dengan sistem yang baru secara keseluruhan. Karena fokus lebih diutamakan pada proteksi utama, maka rele yang akan dibahas pada skripsi ini adalah rele jarak dan rele diferensial penghantar yang biasa digunakan pada SUTT. Untuk melihat koordinasi rele setelah perhitungan, akan digunakan metode scanning untuk melihat hubungan koordinasi antar rele dalam sistem yang baru. Sehingga di dapatkan hasil rekonfigurasi dan pengaruhnya pada sistem sebelumnya.

Protection system is essential in an electrical power system, especially for the reliability and protection on the system in electric machines. Relay is one of the devices that is widely used in the protection system of electric power. There are various types of relay based on characteristics that are required on system, two of them are distance relay and line differential relay. In PT. PLN, the usage of protection system is undoubtedly needed to support the performance of electrical power systems because their position as main electrical company on the state, PLN is forefront for electrical distribution throughout Indonesia so it is expected that sustainability of the electrical system is not disturbed.
In this thesis, the author will discuss the topic of protection system configuration about the high voltage overhead power line of transmision system in the area of Alam Sutera where the new main substation will be built. To adjust this new system as a whole, the old protection system needs to be updated. This thesis will focus in main protection of the system, the relay that will be discussed on this thesis is distance relay and line differential relay which commonly used in high voltage overhead transmission line. For the simulation of distance relay coodination, scanning method will be used to see the relation of coordination of the relay on the new system. Therefore the result can be gotten by reconfiguration and the impact for the previous system."
