"Penelitian ini membahas pembentukan kata bahasa Korea melalui derivasi yang melibatkan penambahan afiks derivatif. Tujuan penelitian ini secara umum adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan afiks derivatif bahasa Korea dalam album BAE173. Pertanyaan penelitian ini adalah bagaimana klasifikasi dan fungsi afiks derivatif bahasa Korea dalam album BAE173. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan data berupa lirik dari 15 lagu dalam album BAE173. Hasil identifikasi dan analisis sumber data menunjukkan bahwa 37 jenis afiks derivatif dalam album BAE173 dapat diklasifikasikan menjadi prefiks, yakni prefiks yang melekat pada nomina dan prefiks yang melekat pada verba atau adjektiva, serta sufiks, yakni sufiks pembentuk nomina, verba, adjektiva, dan adverbia. Selain itu, afiks derivatif bahasa Korea dalam album BAE173 memiliki dua fungsi, yaitu menambahkan makna baru dan mengubah kelas kata dari bentuk dasar atau kata yang dilekatinya. Afiks derivatif yang dapat mengubah kelas kata hanya ditemukan pada sufiks, sedangkan prefiks tidak memiliki fungsi untuk mengubah kelas kata.

This study discusses Korean word formation through derivation, which involves the addition of derivational affixes. The aim of this study is to describe the usage of derivational affixes on the derived words in BAE173’s album. The research question is how are the classification and functions of Korean derivational affixes in BAE173 album. This study applied the qualitative descriptive method with lyrics from 15 songs included in the BAE173 album as the data source. The result of this study indicates that 37 type of derivative affixes in the BAE173 album can be classified into prefixes, which are prefixes that are attached to the base form of nouns and verbs or adjectives, as well as suffixes, which form nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs. Besides, Korean derivational affixes in the BAE173 album has two functions: adding new meanings and altering the word class of their base forms. Affixes that have the function of altering word classes are only found among the suffixes, while prefixes do not have the function of altering word classes."

Nigel Fabb provides a simple and realistic linguistic explanation of poetic form in English from 1500–1900, drawing on the English and American verse and oral narrative tradition, as well as contemporary criticism.
