"[ ABSTRAK Jurnal ini membahas tentang karakteristik Shamanisme Korea. Korea adalah sebuah negara yang memiliki kepercayaan tradisional Shamanisme dan terdapat banyak hal menarik yang menjadi karakteristik Shamanisme Korea. Hal-hal seperti dewa, ritual, dan bahkan mitos-mitos yang terkait dengan Shamanisme Korea membuat Shamanisme Korea memiliki karakternya sendiri. Jurnal ini berusaha menjelaskan karakteristik dan aspek-aspek yang terdapat di dalam Shamanisme Korea. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dalam menganalisis Shamanisme Korea. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat fungsi sosial-budaya Shamanisme Korea pada masyarakat Korea. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara dewa-dewa khususnya Tan?gun dan Shamanisme Korea. Shamanisme Korea memberikan dampak yang cukup besar pada masyarakat Korea baik secara religi maupun sosial budaya.

ABSTRACT This journal focuses on the characteristic in Korean Shamanism. Korea is a country that has shamanism as their folk religion and there are many interesting things that become the characteristic of Korean Shamanism. Things like gods, ritual and even myths that associated with Korean Shamanism make Korean Shamanism has their own characteristics. This journal is trying to explain the characteristic and the aspects in Korean Shamanism. The method used in this journal is qualitative method. Qualitative method is used to analyze the Korean Shamanism. In this research the Korean Shamanism has a socio-cultural function to the Korean society. The result of this study show that there are connection between the gods especially Tan?gun and the Korean Shamanism.
