"Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara dengan keberagaman kepercayaan. Masing-masing kepercayaan ini memiliki corak berbeda-beda. Kelenteng adalah tempat peribadatan penganut Konfusianisme yang mencerminkan corak budaya Tiongkok. Terdapat kelenteng unik di Indonesia yang menjadikan dewa utamanya dewa Phan Ko. Topik dari penelitian ini tentang fungsi agamawi dan fungsi sosial yang ada di kelenteng Phan Ko. Rumusan masalah yang diteliti adalah fungsi agamawi yang diberikan kelenteng Phan Ko pada penganut Tridharma dan Non-Tridharma dan fungsi sosial kepada masyarakat yang tinggal di sekitar kelenteng. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, pengambilan data dilakukan dengan mewawancarai informan untuk mendapatkan data yang akan diseleksi lalu dianalisis. Penelitian ini mendapatkan hasil tentang fungsi agamawi dan fungsi sosial kelenteng Phan Ko.

Indonesia is a country with a diversity of beliefs. Each of these beliefs has a different style. The pagoda is a place of worship for Confucian adherents that reflects Chinese cultural features. There is a unique pagoda in Indonesia where the main god is Phan Ko. The topic of this research is about the religious and social functions in the Phan Ko temple. The formulation of the problem studied is the religious function given by the Phan Ko temple to Tridharma and Non-Tridharma adherents and social functions to the people who live around the temple. This research uses descriptive qualitative method, data collection is done by interviewing informants to obtain data that will be selected and then analyzed. This study obtained results regarding the religious and social functions of the Phan Ko temple."
