"[ ABSTRAKTari topeng Korea adalah salah satu bentuk teater klasik yang diperkirakan mulai berkembang sejak periode Joseon. Tari topeng pada umumnya bertemakan kritik sosial. Oleh karena itu, jurnal ini ditulis dengan tujuan untuk menemukan kritik sosial yang ada dalam drama tari topeng Korea, cara kritik tersebut disampaikan dan tujuannya sebagai suara penyampaian kritik oleh masyarakat. Drama tari topeng yang akan dianalisis adalah drama tari topeng Kasan Ogwangdae dan Pongsan. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui pendekatan sosiologi sastra. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dan close reading. Penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan, terdapat tiga kritik sosial utama yang ada dalam drama tari topeng Korea yaitu rahib yang ingkar, keangkuhan kaum bangsawan, serta hubungan cinta segitiga antara suami, istri, dan wanita simpanan yang ditemukan berdasarkan dialog-dialog yang ada dalam cerita dan bentuk topeng yang digunakan. Tujuan penyampaian kritik sosial ini sebagai pembuktian akan kesalahan-kesalahan yang terjadi di masa lalu dan peringatan agar hal yang sama tidak akan terjadi.

ABSTRACT

Korean mask dance is one of classic theater which is developed since Joseon’s period. Generally, Korean mask dance have social critical theme. The reason why this journal was written with the purpose to find the social critical in Korean mask dance drama, in the critical way could be extended by and the purpose as the voice to extend the critic by the society. Korean mask dance drama would be analyzed is mask dance drama of Kasan Ogwangdae and Pongsan. This research will be use sociology literature approachment. The research methodology were used are qualitative methodology and close reading. This research had three main social critical conclusions in Korean mask dance drama which is about reluctant monk, the vain of nobleman, and the love triangle between husband, wife, and the mistress lady were found in the dialogues inside the story and the mask’s shape were used.
