"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh foreign investor dan board ownership terhadap pengambilan risiko perusahaan pada Perusahaan Non Finansial LQ 45, Periode Agustus 2016-Januari 2017. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah generalized least square dengan pendekatan fixed effect model.Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa baik foreign investor maupun board ownership, secara signifikan mempengaruhi pengambilan risiko perusahaan pada Perusahaan Non Finansial LQ 45, Periode Agustus 2016-Januari 2017. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat kepemilikan saham oleh pihak asing, maka tingkat pengambilan risiko yang tinggi di perusahaan semakin menurun. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat kepemilikan saham oleh pihak manajemen seperti Direksi maupun Komisaris, maka tingkat pengambilan risiko yang tinggi di perusahaan semakin menurun.

This research aims to analyze the effect of foreign investor and board ownership toward corporate risk taking behavior in LQ 45 non financial firms, August 2016 January 2017. The analysis method used in this research is generalized least square with fixed effect model.This research found that both foreign investor and board ownership significantly affect corporate risk taking in LQ 45 non financial firms, August 2016 January 2017. Higher shares rate owned by foreign party would lead to lower risky risk taking rate. Higher shares rate owned by firm rsquo s management such as directors and commissioners would also lead to lower risky risk taking rate."
