"ABSTRACTA city with a multicultural society allows the social processes of ethnicity, either associative or dissociative. Especially in the city of Bandung, the dynamics of social processes of ethnicity between Chinese ethnic and Sundanese ethnic have ups and downs. Based on the idea, the purpose of this study is to describe how the associative and dissociative social process of Chinese ethnic and Sundanese ethnic in Bandung? The research design uses a qualitative approach with case study model. The location of the research was conducted in Bandung. This research produced a description of social relations practices that are associative in the form of cooperative relations if there is a common interest, while in the form of accommodation occurs if the Chinese ethnic embraces Islam. The social process in the form of assimilation and amalgamation can be seen in the field of culture. Meanwhile, social processes that indicate competition, rivalry, and social conflict (dissociative) start from the perspective of stereotypes, prejudices and discriminatory."

"Religion, Ethnicity and Transnational Migration between West Africa and Europe focuses on the West African migrants presence in Europe and the way they negotiate religion and ethnicity in a new context. Special attention is given to the diversity of religious background of the migrants and to exploration of interreligious (especially Christian-Muslim) relations. These dimensions of transnational migration have not been widely researched, yet. After introducing the new African religious diaspora, the situation of the Senegalese, Ghanaian and Fulbe migrants, both Christian and Muslim, in France, Spain, the Netherlands, Germany and Switzerland is analysed. The impact the migrants make on their communities of origin in Africa is also taken into account. "

"[Discourse of renewal adalah strategi komunikasi krisis yang didasari empat cara-cara komunikasi, yaknileader-base, provisional, prospective dan optimistic. Dalam pendekatan identitas sosial yang dipergunakan pada penelitian ini, cara komunikasi leader-base mengarah pada pembentukan kesamaan identitas (common identity) yang menghasilkan kesamaan nilai-nilai (common value). Cara komunikasi provisional mengarah pada cara komunikasi yang spontanitas sesuai dengan etika dan norma yang menjadi kesepakatan bersama (ethics and norms). Dan cara komunikasi prospective mengarah pada satu kesamaan tujuan (common vision). Sedangkan cara komunikasi optimistic mengarah pada perilaku positif (good behaviours). Keempat cara tersebut dapat memberikan suatu perubahan baru dalam nilai-nilai (renewed belief in core values) individu maupun organisasi. Berdasarkan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi terhadap upaya-upaya komunikasi krisis komunitas JIS Dragon, maka hasil analisa yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini mengatakan bahwa komunikasi krisis discourse ofrenewal pada komunitas JIS Dragon terdapat kesamaan nilai (leader base) yakni humanity dan justice, yang dilakukan atas inisiatif spontan yang disesuaikan dengan etika dan norma (provisional), untuk membentuk dukungan bersama terhadap kasus yang menimpa anggotanya (prospective) dengan perilaku yang positif (optimistic).;Discourse of renewal is crisis communication strategy that have four different ways of communication which are leader-base, provisional, prospective and optimistic.
