"Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Nasional (BKKBN) menyelenggarakan program pelatihan Contraceptive Technology Update (CTU) bagi dokter dan bidan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi provider dalam pemasangan IUD dan Implan. Kurangnya aplikasi hasil pelatihan berupa pemasangan IUD/ implan pasca pelatihan menjadi salah satu latar belakang penelitian ini. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk melihat efektivitas pelatihan tersebut menggunakan metode kualitatif. Dengan hasil pada tahapan input cukup sesuai dengan kriteria, pada tahapan reaction dan learning level cukup efektif dan pada tahapan behavior level cukup berdampak pada pelayanan IUD/ implan di puskesmas serta pada tahapan result level cukup berpengaruh pada peningkatan cakupan dan kualitas pelayanan

National Population and Family Planning Board (BKKBN) organizes Contraceptive Technology Update (CTU) training program for physicians and midwives which aims to improve the competence of providers in IUD insertion and implants. Lack of application of training results in the form of post-training IUD insertion/implant becomes one of the backgrounds for this study. The study objective is to see the training effectiveness by using qualitative method. With the results of the input phase, has quite according to the criteria, at reaction phase and learning level it is quite effective and in the behavior level, it has quite impact on the IUD/implant services at community health centers as well as at the result phase, it is quite effective."
