"This research was an overview about the crime prevention program following the implementation of Suramadu Bridge. The Crime Prevention Program occures there are conducted by the police and Badan Pengembangan Wilayah Suramadu. This research starts when mass media publication exposed a lot of criminalities occured around Suramadu Bridge after it established. The purpose of this research is to find out the effective way of crime prevention to be implicated there. This research uses qualitative method with descriptive design which the data is obtained through the process of interviewing and observation on the field. This study concludes that community development and crime prevention should be run at its best. This is very important for the future,simple crime won?t be a social problem."

"Tugas Karya Akhir ini membahas pencegahan kejahatan berpendekatan komunitas pada kasus kejahatan di permukiman. Kejahatan sering terjadi di permukiman yang memiliki karakteristik permukiman banyak rumah kontrak dan permukiman banyak rumah mewah. Dalam menanggulangi masalah kejahatan tersebut dibutuhkan pencegahan kejahatan yang berpendekatan komunitas. Pencegahan kejahatan berpendekatan komunitas lebih mengutamakan partisipasi warga komunitas pada perbaikan kapasitas komunitas yang ditentukan oleh kohesi sosial dan kontrol sosial informal warga komunitas yang bersangkutan. Argumen tersebut senada dengan teori-teori tentang pencegahan kejahatan berpendekatan komunitas antara lain yang dikemukakan oleh Dermawan (2010) dan Sampson (1997).

This paper discusses community-based crime prevention in cases of crimes comitted in residential areas. Crimes often occurs in settlements that have the characteristics of numerous contracted house, as well as settlements that have many luxurious homes. In tackling these crimes, a community-based crime prevention is needed. Community- based crime prevention prioritizes community participation in improving community capacity, which is determined by the social cohesion and informal social control of the community members. This argument is in line with the theories of community- based crime prevention that was proposed by, among others, Dermawan (2010) and Sampson (1997)."

"Hubungan antara korporasi dan masyarakat bersifat timbal balik atau reciprocal dan memiliki potensi untuk memunculkan konflik. Konflik antara korporasi dan masyarakat sering kali berakar dari perbedaan kepentingan yang dapat menimbulkan dampak destruktif, termasuk peningkatan risiko terjadinya kejahatan. Oleh karena itu, respons perusahaan terhadap konflik menjadi aspek yang krusial dalam mencegah eskalasi masalah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bentuk konflik yang terjadi antara PT PLN Indonesia Power Kamojang POMU dengan masyarakat, mengevaluasi respons perusahaan terhadap konflik tersebut, serta menganalisis pendekatan yang diambil perusahaan dengan menggunakan prinsip pencegahan kejahatan berbasis komunitas, yang menekankan pentingnya partisipasi publik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode wawancara semi-terstruktur yang melibatkan berbagai pemangku kepentingan, termasuk perwakilan perusahaan, kepala dusun, mitra binaan, dan warga sekitar Kamojang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konflik utama yang terjadi antara PT PLN Indonesia Power Kamojang POMU dan masyarakat meliputi ancaman yang terkait dengan penolakan proposal pengajuan dana bantuan sosial oleh masyarakat serta permasalahan perambahan hutan. Analisis lebih lanjut mengungkapkan bahwa dalam beberapa aspek, perusahaan kurang melibatkan komunitas masyarakat secara aktif dalam proses penyelesaian konflik. Hal ini menjadi perhatian penting, mengingat pendekatan pencegahan kejahatan berbasis komunitas sangat menekankan kolaborasi dan partisipasi masyarakat dalam menciptakan solusi yang berkelanjutan dan efektif.

The relationship between corporations and communities is reciprocal and has the potential to lead to conflict. Corporate-community conflicts often stem from a misalignment of interests, which can result in destructive consequences, including an increased risk of crime. Therefore, a corporation's response to conflicts is a critical aspect of preventing further escalation. This study aims to identify the types of conflicts occurring between PT PLN Indonesia Power Kamojang POMU and the local community, evaluate the company’s response to these conflicts, and analyze its approach using community-based crime prevention principles, which emphasize public participation. This research employs a qualitative approach using semi-structured interviews with various stakeholders, including company representatives, village heads, supported partners, and local residents in Kamojang. The findings reveal that the primary conflicts between PT PLN Indonesia Power Kamojang POMU and the community include threats related to the rejection of community proposals for social assistance funds and issues of forest encroachment. Further analysis indicates that, in several aspects, the company has not sufficiently involved the community in conflict resolution processes. This highlights a significant concern, as community-based crime prevention approaches strongly advocate for collaboration and active public participation in creating sustainable and effective solutions."

"ABSTRAKIndonesia masuk ke dalam salah satu negara yang paling sering menerimakejahatan penipuan. Salah satu jenis penipuan tersebut adalah penipuan Go-Pay. Teoriaktivitas rutin dapat digunakan untuk mengetahui mengapa kejahatan ini dapat terjadiberdasarkan data sekudner yang telah dikumpulkan. Hasil tulisan ini menemukan bahwaadanya atribut-atribut yang mendorong terjadinya kejahatan. Pendekatan situationaldigunakan untuk melakukan pencegahan kejahatan berdasarkan analisis teori aktivitasrutin yang telah dilakukan sebelumnya.
