"Dalam proses produksi berita, terdapat aspek reciprocity antara jurnalis dengan narasumber yang menentukan bagaimana berita akan direproduksi dan direpresentasikan. Kriminologi budaya mengkritisi mengenai bentuk konstruksi suatu pemberitaan, fokus yang diangkat dalam penulisan ini ialah aspek reciprocity yang saling menguntungkan kedua belah pihak antara jurnalis kriminal dengan institusi kepolisian. Polisi akan selalu memberikan informasi dan mempermudah akses dan bahan berita kepada jurnalis kriminal, sebab polisi adalah pihak yang mendominasi informasi dan sumber berita kejahatan. Sebaliknya, jurnalis kriminal cenderung melakukan framing dengan citra positif good police terhadap narasumber utamanya, yaitu institusi kepolisian. In the process of news production, there rsquo s a reciprocity aspect between journalists and news resource that determine how the news will be reproduced and represented. Cultural criminology criticizes the construction form of a news, the focus raised in this paper is the reciprocity aspect that mutually benefits both parties between the criminal journalist and the police institution. The police will always provide information, facilitate access, and news material to criminal journalists, the police are the ones who dominate the information and sources of crime news. Conversely, criminal journalists tend to framing with a positive image good police against the main source, the police institution. This paper analyzes the reciprocity aspect of mass media editorial of Pos Kota online. The result of the analysis shows that reporting of criminal journalist of Pos Kota online tends to reproduce and represent positive image of police institution good police repeatedly and with certain pattern to keep positive image remain present positively. Therefore, the reciprocity relationship between journalist and its news source has an effect on how a mass media doing framing."

"Sistem pemeriksaan perkara sebagai bagian dari penegakan hukum memberi pengaruh yang besar terhadap tercapainya keadilan dan kepastian hukum. Pemeriksaan perkara yang melampaui wewenang dan berbeda-beda yang selama ini dilakukan Mahkamah Agung terbukti telah menimbulkan viktimisasi struktural, ketidakadilan dan ketidakpastian hukum. Sistem Kamar adalah sistem pemeriksaan perkara di Mahkamah Agung yang diterapkan sebagai jalan keluar dari hal tersebut untuk membantu pengadilan kasasi mencapai kesatuan penerapan hukum dan konsistensi putusan. Sejak diterapkan 1 dekade lalu, sistem ini belum sekalipun pernah dikaji efektivitasnya oleh Mahkamah Agung. Penelitian ini mengkaji efektivitas Sistem Kamar untuk melihat capaian dan perbaikan-perbaikan yang perlu dilakukan baik oleh Mahkamah Agung maupun pihak eksternal di luar Mahkamah Agung untuk mengoptimalkan Sistem Kamar. Penelitian ini melihat Sistem Kamar dari sudut pandang kriminologi, khususnya pencegahan kejahatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan evaluatif dari berbagai data primer dan data sekunder yang terkait dengan Sistem Kamar yang tersebar dalam berbagai bentuk. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Sistem Kamar belum mampu mencapai tujuan utamanya dan karena itu membutuhkan revitalisasi. Revitalisasi Sistem Kamar yang diusulkan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan pencegahan viktimisasi berbasis situasi untuk menutup berbagai kesempatan yang dapat memicu terjadinya penyalahgunaan kekuasaan, ketidakadilan, ketidakpastian hukum.

The case examination system as part of law enforcement have a major influence on the achievement of justice and legal certainty. The examination of cases that have exceeded the authority of court of cassation and causing disparity of decisions that carried out by the Supreme Court of Indonesia (Mahkamah Agung) has been proven in causing structural victimization, injustice, and legal uncertainty. The Chamber System is a case examination system in the Mahkamah Agung which is implemented as a solution to out of this matter to assist the court of cassation court to achieve unity in the application of the law and consistency of decisions. Since being implemented a decade ago, Chamber System has never been reviewed for its effectiveness by the Supreme Court. This study examines the effectiveness of the Chamber System to see the achievements and improvements that need to be made by both the Mahkamah Agung and external party to optimize the Chamber System. This discuss and analyze the Chamber System from the point of view of criminology, particularly in crime prevention. This study uses a qualitative and evaluative approach from various primary and secondary data related to the Chamber System that is spread in various forms. This study concludes that the Chamber System has not been able to achieve its main objectives and therefore requires revitalization. The revitalization of Chamber System proposed in this study uses a situation-based approach to close various opportunities that can trigger abuse of power, injustice, and legal uncertainty.
