"Arsitektur tradisional Jawa yang berupa rumah tidak lepas hubungannya dengan masyarakat dan waktu. Dilandasi dengan ide dan pemikiran-pemikiran, rumah Jawa berubah dan berkembang sesuai dengan keadaan pada periode-periodenya. Dengan perubahan mengikuti perkembangan dalam bentukan fisik dan juga non-fisiknya kita melihat sebuah fenomena bagaimana sebuah rumah dapat berubah mengikuti kurun waktu yang berlangsung. Dengan berlandas pada data-data dan informasi yang bersifat valid, penelitian ini dapat menemukan hasil. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa perubahan tersebut terbukti dan terlihat dari fakta-fakta yang ada dan tidak bisa dipungkiri lagi bahwa perubahan tersebut terlihat dari segi fisik dan nonfisiknya. Perubahan tersebut memperjelas bahwa keadaan memicu seluruhnya. Perubahan kearah yang positif dan fungsional sangat diperlukan, tetapi harapnya unsur-unsur filosofi, ide dan pemikiran masyarakat Jawa tidak dilepaskan begitu saja dan tetap terus dibawa.

Javanese traditional architecture that forms a house never loses a connection with the people and time. Based on the idea and thoughts, Javanese house change and evolve according to the circumstances within the period. With the changes that followed the circumstances in a physical and non-physical shape, we see a phenomenon of a house that changes following the period of the time. With data that information that is valid, this research can find a results. The study explains that these changes are evident and visible by the fact that seen from the physical and non-physical terms. The changes clarify that the circumstances triggering the whole problem. This shift toward a positive and functional is definitely needed, but we hoped the elements of philosophy, ideas and thoughts are not released from the Javanese society and still continue to carry from time to time."

"Topeng Betawi sebagai tradisi lisan terus tumbuh dan mengalami pembaharuan di tengah modernisasi yang melingkupinya. Bertahannya Topeng Betawi menunjukkan bahwa kebudayaan bukan sesuatu yang kaku dan statis. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan oleh kelompok Topeng Betawi Margasari Kacrit Putra untuk berhadapan dengan modernisasi dan perubahan di sekitaranya, yaitu dengan cara menyesuaikan struktur pertunjukannya dengan irama kehidupan yang semakin cepat. Melalui kajian metode transmisi, tampak ada seperangkat strategi yang diakukan untuk memelihara kelangsungan tradisinya. Topeng Betawi sebagai suatu pertunjukan yang mempunyai aspek teater dengan unsur hiburan dan ritual dengan unsur kemanjuran di dalamnya, diwujudkan melalui struktur pertunjukan yang digarap melalui strategi yang dimiliki, yaitu dengan dihadirkan elemen yang tetap dan elemen longgar.

Topeng Betawi as an oral tradition continues to grow and innovate in the midst of modernization that surrounds it. The persistence of Topeng Betawi shows that culture is not rigid and static. An attempt made by Topeng Betawi Margasari Kacrit Putra Group to cope with modernization and change, is by adjusting the structure of the performance with the rapid rhythm of life. A study of the method of transmission shows there is a set of strategies used to preserve the tradition. Topeng Betawi as a performance that contains a theater aspect with the element of entertainment, and ritual aspect with the element of efficacy in it, is actualized through the structure of the performance that is brought out through those strategies, by featuring fixed elements as well as changeable elements."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan proses penyajian konten 2.5-D musical pertunjukan sandiwara panggung yang mengadaptasi cerita dari karya budaya populer Jepang seperti anime, manga, dan game berjudul Live Spectacle NARUTO Akatsuki no Shirabe selanjutnya disebut NARUTO AnS dari manga ke atas panggung dan melihat motivasi dari pengadaptasian tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode analisis teks untuk memetakan perbedaan penyajian dari manga ke teater dan studi pustaka. Dari penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa NARUTO AnS mengalami berbagai penyesuaian untuk memenuhi tuntutan di medium barunya, namun tetap setia pada karya yang diadaptasi. Kesetiaan terhadap karya yang diadaptasi tersebut dilakukan untuk memenuhi tuntutan di medium barunya serta untuk mencapai motivasinya, yaitu tujuan kreatif dan ekonomis. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, sesuai dengan teori Balodis, kesetiaan terhadap karya yang diadaptasi tersebut dilakukan atas dua motivasi yaitu motivasi kreatif dan motivasi ekonomis.

This study aims to describe the content presentation process of 2.5 D musicals theater performances from stories of popular Japanese culture such as anime, manga, and game of Live Spectacle NARUTO Akatsuki no Shirabe hereafter referred to as NARUTO AnS ndash from manga to on stage performance and to understand the motivation behind its adaptation. This study is conducted through text analysis method in order to map the presentation difference from manga to on stage theater, and through literature study. From this study it is found that there are several adjustments in NARUTO ndash AnS ndash in order to fulfill requirements in its new medium, though in some areas still remain loyal to its adapted work. Its loyalty towards the adapted work is to fulfill requirements of the new medium to meet its creative and economic motivations. This study reveals that in accordance to Balodis rsquo theory, loyalty towards the adapted work is based on two motivations, creative and economical motivation."
