ABSTRAKSkripsi ini mengangkat tema mengenai mitos yang terkandung di dalam tiga buah lirik mengenai Lorelei dari tiga masa berbeda. Lirik mengenai Lorelei dibedakan dari tiga rentang waktu yang berbeda, yaitu Lorelei karya Heinrich Heine yang diciptakan tahun 1823, Loreley karya Dschinghis Khan yang diciptakan tahun 1981, dan Lore Lay karya Faun yang diciptakan tahun 2013 untuk menampilkan mitos Lorelei dari waktu ke waktu. Selain itu, penelitian mengacu kepada relasi antara tokoh laki-laki dengan tokoh perempuan. Melalui telaah feminisme eksistensialisme terlihat perbedaan posisi antara laki-laki dan perempuan dalam ketiga teks. Ketiga teks memperlihatkan posisi laki-laki sebagai subjek, namun laki-laki juga dapat menjadi objek apabila dikuasai oleh perempuan. Posisi perempuan sebagai Sosok yang Lain juga fleksibel. Di satu sisi, perempuan dipandang sebagai objek, namun di sisi lain ia dapat menjelma menjadi subjek, namun hanya sebagai subjek yang jahat femme fatale . Selain itu, berdasarkan pada teori mitos Roland Barthes, hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat mitos yang mengakar kuat karena adanya kepercayaan masyarakat sejak dahulu kala.
ABSTRACTThis thesis placed its focus on the myth that contained in three lyrics about Lorelei from three different periods. The lyrics of Lorelei are distinguished from three different time ranges, Lorelei by Heinrich Heine in 1823, Loreley by Dschinghis Khan in 1981, and Lore Lay by Faun in 2013 to show Lorelei myth from time to time. In addition, this research refer to the relationship between man and woman characters. Through the study of existentialist feminism, it shows the difference in position between man and woman in all three texts. All of the texts show the position of man as a subject, but men can also become an object when controlled by woman. The position of woman as The Other is also flexible. On the one hand, woman is seen as an object, but on the other hand she can transformed herself into a subject, but only as an evil subject femme fatale . Furthermore, based on Roland Barthes myth theory, the result of this study indicate that there is a myth that is deeply rooted because of the belief of society since a long time ago."
